Three years after the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riot, the FBI is still seeking the suspect who planted a pipe bomb near the headquarters of the Republican National Committee and the Democratic National Committee on the eve of the attack.
The pipe bombs, which had an hour-long kitchen timer as a detonator, were viable, but didn’t detonate and no one was hurt, the FBI said.
"Over the past three years, a dedicated team of FBI agents, analysts, data scientists, and law enforcement partners has worked thousands of hours conducting interviews, reviewing physical and digital evidence, and assessing tips from the public about who may have placed pipe bombs on Capitol Hill," David Sundberg, assistant director in charge of the FBI Washington Field Office, said Thursday.

From what I understand the devices were made from fake training devices used by the FBI.

Today the same is happening in our nation but with an odd twist of propaganda. The Nazis as do all totalitarian nations censure by brute force and fear. Our media is a willing partner in the dissemination of propaganda. The media are partners and not the defenders of truth, they have become part of THE STATE.

I would be surprised if it had a functioning detonator or more than a token amount of “real” explosives. Wouldn’t do to have a random bit of electrical energy set the thing off and hurt anyone.
They have video of the perp talking on the phone. They deliberately downgraded the resolution of the video so you cannot make out details, but the video proves they know the time and location of the perp when he/she/it dropped off the pipe bomb.
They tracked down all the J6 “insurrectionists” from the cellphone location data.
They could do the same with the pipe bomb terrorist, but they won’t because he/she/it is one of them.
You could plug two hot wires from a 120volt outlet into plastic explosives and it wouldn’t do a thing.
But the point was that they can claim that the devices found were “viable bombs” and not be lying so long as all the components were present but the components don’t have to be connected or in working order.

Pelosi needs one pretext to declare an emergency, thus to suspend the normal rules by which Trump hoped to have congressional challenges (that would return the question of designating electors to the affected state legislatures, who could investigate fraud, etc.).
She ended up with TWO (the bomb scares over the two non-functional pipe bombs; and, the riot). Pelosi and her deputy security chief for intel prevented adequate crowd control, then had the Capitol and/or Metro Police agitate the protestors into an angry mob. Other agitators among the crowd seemed to direct the removal of barriers and incite “going into the Capitol.
Were redundant plots unleashed as “insurance” or were two groups hatching their own operations without knowing about each other? All the agitators and the bomb guy were not necessarily working for the FBI; some might have been Pelosi/Capitol Police/Democrat operatives. The bomb plot seems like an FBI operation, the riot run by the Capitol Police (maybe the woman who left for a high paid job at UC Berkeley...).
