It’s out there, you’ll probably get it.

The new strain gives you a two day bad cold.

How about the test is a POS and don’t use it?

Had covid twice, still long covid, Antigen test was negative both times, serology was positive. False positives, false negatives, worthless test. And besides, testing is so LAST YEAR.

OR how about I’ve already had it once, it wasn’t that bad and now I have natural immunity and I don’t need to worry about it anymore?

I had it in Jan 2022 and Jan 2023. Both times a "gift" from my wife's co-workers. My wife retired Dec 27. Out before the "gift" runs through her co-workers. Both times lasted 10 days. The Jan 2022 infection got passed to my senior poodle. It killed her in 2 days. My wife and I got through it with no lasting impact.

Take 10,000 iu of D3 per day and quit worrying about it

My daily D3 is 10000 IU, but paired with 500 mcg vitamin K2 and 400 mg magnesium glycinate. The latter items are necessary to convert the D3 to usable form. The synthesis of oral D3 into the active form can be subverted by fructose. Avoid it as much as possible.

Get a vitamin D check as part of your blood test. The lower bound of acceptable is 45 ng/dl. Optimal is between 60 ng and 90 ng. I overshot terribly and tested at 170 ng/dl. In spite of that level, I still caught COVID...twice, but had no lasting impact.

Sunlight is the best source of vitamin D, but those living north of 34 degrees latitude can't get enough sunlight to get the job done, so oral supplements are necessary.

I think he’s better. He’s a little ways away. Thanks.

My husband was just being treated for fractured hip at VA hospital and tested positive for Covid. Cancel any physical therapy at a rehab. Just expect him to lay in hospital bed for 10 days. Oh, zero symptoms. He had to cause trouble for staff to be allowed to go home just to get rid of him. 10 days later still no symptoms.

I really struggle with vitamin D supplements, the best I’ve found is the D3/K one made by Pure, but they all cause me to have terrible hot flashes 🤷‍♀️

Sunlight doesn’t cause that side effect. in winter, I try to sit in the sun as much as possible in GA, between 12 and 1. I’m also supplementing with cod liver oil.

The D3 mght or might not prevent flu or Covid. However I can testify that the D3 will considerably reduce the intensity.

My wife and son recently came down with te current flu bug. He was out of action. She was set back but not debilitated.

I did not catch it at all
