The U.S. Army published a story about Major Rachel Jones who claims to be a transgender woman that has recently come out and is now "living authentically."
Jones is the U.S. Army Sustainment Command Cyber Division chief, G6 (Information Management), who "struggled with depression and suicidal ideation for most of her life. Today, she is living her truth and is no longer battling depression or suicidal thoughts."

So far as health issues are concerned, transitioned persons are VERY high-maintenance, and a number of continuing issues are added to the common ageing problems. Because of an interrupted endocrine system, hormone levels can vary widely with constant monitoring, and really traumatic emotional problems overlapping physical problems are greatly exacerbated. Testosterone levels especially affect the readiness to show anger, impulse control is sadly lacking.
This is like stuffing a jet turbine engine into a 1935 Ford. None of the parts fit, and the overstress makes the “conversion” almost useless for day to day operations. Reliability and performance never come up to acceptable standards.
It would be an unlawful order from a POS that doesn’t know WTF it is.
