Biden administration asks Supreme Court to remove razor wire at southern border

The Biden administration asked the Supreme Court on Tuesday to lift an injunction imposed by an appeals court that allows Texas to keep wire barriers at the southern border, arguing the barriers inhibit Border Patrol agents from crossing.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit in December halted a lower court order that gave Border Patrol agents the green light to cut concertina wire that Texas put in place along the banks of the Rio Grande.

"Texas's placement of the wire near the riverbank in Eagle Pass has proved particularly problematic for Border Patrol agents," the Justice Department wrote in its petition Tuesday.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued the Biden administration in October, arguing that Border Patrol agents wrongfully destroyed state property when its agents cut through the concertina wire, allegedly to “assist” immigrants to “illegally cross” the border.

The Biden administration contends that Border Patrol agents cut the wire to give medical assistance to immigrants who had already crossed the Rio Grande into U.S. territory, saying at that point, the immigrants must be apprehended, according to court records.

The Texas Military Department has placed up to 70,000 rolls of wire into different parts of the Texas-Mexico border to deter immigrants from crossing, and it says such efforts are necessary to combat alleged mismanagement of the crisis by the federal government.

Land mines and machine gun nests would do the job if we had the balls to do it.

Some would die but the point would be made and the invasion would stop.

Border Patrol job now is to ASSIST them into getting into the country.

Border Patrol is the enemy of US citizens and another tool of the corrupt left, democrat party.

First, the Supreme Court should refuse to hear this case.

If by some chance they do decide to hear it, they should very clearly explain the Constitution to the Biden Administration as to States having all powers not specifically reserved by the Constitution to the federal government.

For the Supreme Court to micromanage the placement of razor wire by non-federal agencies at specific locations is beyond the pale of any rational thought. This would mean that the Supreme Court would need to rule if razor wire (common at most correction facilities, and tow truck impound lots) should be allowed? This whole thing is beyond nonsense.

They are seriously arguing, that these barriers inhibit the Border Patrol from doing their jobs, when the policies of this administration have inhibited them doing their jobs? What the heck?

Democrat "logic".

it makes the border guards job harder by having to lift the wire, so the illegals can come under it.

Gov. Abbott needs to send the buses to Washington DC

Make that Georgetown and the other DC suburbs where the Executive Branch drones nest. They wouldn't be caught dead actually living in DC.

The constitution demands that the federal government protect the states from invasion. The USSC however has no interest in what the constitution states or else their previous rulings would reflect what the constitution says. Even congress has no right to pass laws to the contrary.

Remove the barbed wire, replace it with anti-personnel mines and 50 caliber.

“They wouldn’t be caught dead actually living in DC”

DC itself has many affluent suburban neighborhoods: Spring Valley, Forest Hills, Cleveland Park, Wesley Heights, Crestwood, Shepherd Park, Kalorama, Massachusetts Avenue Heights, etc.

“..This was planned in advance and started day one of the Biden puppet regime...”

Yep. There are stories that this was planned for a long time now, and that many of these illegals are mostly military-aged men.
Remember all those huge weapons and ammo purchases that all the Fed agencies were doing a few years back? One conspiracy theory is that they’re gonna arm these guys and turn em loose on Americans. Maybe It’s that army obamy has always talked about and wanted.

Simply by asking the Supreme Court for a ruling on the subject the Biden Administration is acknowledging that they do not have the authority and expect the Supremes to give it to them.

If they rule against Biden and his fascists, Biden will just do whatever they want to any way, Supreme Court ruing be damned.............
