The FBI Headquarters should not be moved to a far away location, but should stay right where it is, in a new and spectacular building, in the best location in our now crime ridden and filthy dirty, graffiti scarred, Capital. They should be involved in bringing back D.C., not running away from it, especially the violent crime. An important part of my platform for President is to bring back, restore, and rebuild Washington, D.C., into the “crown jewel” of our Nation. We will make it crime free and GREAT AGAIN. The FBI should not be fleeing for safer, yet much less convenient, environs. It should make where they are now the safest place on earth! DON’T MOVE THE FBI!

Well ... I’ll still vote for Trump, but this is disappointing. He cannot work with the Deep State. They will stab him in the back every time. Burn the FBI down. 100%.

Good ideal they wanted to build a building away from DC put them right in the middle of the city.
I disagree. The Gestapo should be moved to Kansas or Nebraska. Some place as far from DC as you can get. Maybe Anchorage Alaska would be even better.
And make them do their job fighting crime.

We visited the FBI building in about 1970. The building was hardly impressive. The location is right.

The same Freepers who were screaming less than two months ago about RINOs in congress funding a new FBI building are going to flood this thread with justifications for Trump supporting it.
The United States is a debtor nation. The FBI does not need “a new and spectacular building”. People in debt need to cut back. So do nations.
I’m a bit disappointed Trump does not see it that way.
Andother unfortunate tweet/truth from DJT. I wish he did recognize that the FBI has real problems, and might benefit from being broken up, but what’s the main takeaway? Is it that the FBI needs a spectacular new building? Or is it that the FBI shouldn’t be moved to the suburbs?
We could buy the island of St. Helena and banish them there, it worked for Napolean. We could use Gtmo, also.

I don’t agree with any of them. Downsize the FBI and keep them in the old building and reform the agency.
