I don’t think masks were completely done away with in hospitals... they still use them to keep aerosol particles from possibly infecting patients.

Have not seen masks as requirement in UPMC central PA or HMC- PSU as of this week. Some visitors or patients may wear them at their own prerogative or if they have respiratory issues.
