Barack Obama’s CRT legacy.
Indeed, there is no more apt poster child for the America Obama left us than the pathetic Ms. Gay. In a time when not just race but adherence to noxious neo-Marxism govern hiring decisions everywhere from the campus to the “entertainment” world, (and, increasingly, Fortune 500 boardrooms), no one better exemplifies the ruinous legacy of our 44th president.
And ruinous by intention. This is only one facet of the “fundamental transformation” of America that Obama promised on the eve of his 2008 election. All the American people really wanted in electing Obama was to neutralize race as a persistent issue in politics and culture, thinking that taking a chance on a not-particularly-qualified politician as our president would prove we aren’t a racist country, and further, we’d be proving that we’d realized the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., that men and women would be judged in America by the content of their character and not the color of their skin.
What a vile bait-and-switch that was.
Barack Obama’s own academic qualifications were dubious. It’s still not particularly well-understood how he managed to secure admission to Columbia and Harvard with undistinguished grades or how he managed to serve as president of Harvard’s law review without authoring a single article in that publication.
He advanced based on the color of his skin and not his individual merit. Everyone understands that now. Obama then demonstrated at Harvard Law along with the bizarre racist professor Derrick Bell, the inventor of Critical Race Theory, when the latter demanded the university hire more black faculty simply because they were black. This after Obama was made president of the law review simply because he was black.
As Claudine Gay was made president of the university simply because she is black.

In one example, Gay commissioned a “Task Force on Visual Culture and Signage” after the death of George Floyd in 2020. This task force later released a series of recommendations for engaging in what it referred to as the “historical reckoning with racial injustice.”
Among its recommendations reportedly included a mandate to change “spaces whose visual culture is dominated by homogenous portraiture of white men.”
It also said administrators should “refresh” the walls of Annenberg Hall, which “prominently display a series of 23 portraits, none of [which] depict women, and all but three of [which] depict white men.”
The task force never explained who the white men were or why they were on the walls of Annenberg Hall in the first place. The only reasons for the removal of these paintings appeared to be due to their skin color and sex, according to white-biased Gay.
Last year, Gay launched an initiative within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences for “de-naming” any “space, program, or other entity” deemed racist by the faculty and administration.
Moreover, deeming such entities “racist” would be “based on the perception that a namesake’s actions or beliefs were ‘abhorrent’ in the context of current values,” meaning that Harvard would use presentism in order to pass judgment on individuals who lived hundreds of years ago.
“Since then, the university has grappled with denaming multiple buildings, including Winthrop House, named after John Winthrop, governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, and his great grandson, also John Winthrop, a Harvard professor and president,” Rufo pointed out.
In another example, Gay, as president of Harvard, is leading a “sprawling DEI bureaucracy,” otherwise known as Diversity, equity, and inclusion, which “seeks to influence how students speak, think, and behave in relation to race.”
The CRT expert noted that....... Harvard has deleted nearly all DEI materials from its website....... following Gay’s disastrous congressional testimony, in which she declined to say whether advocating for the genocide of Jews is permissible on campus.
Recovered DEI documents through an Internet archive show that Harvard’s diversity administrators urge students to internalize the Critical Race Theory narrative, which is that America is systemically racist, riddled with white-baiting code words like “police brutality,” “white supremacist violence,” and the “weaponization of whiteness.”
Students have also been encouraged to “unpack” their so-called “white” and “male” privileges, and to consider their “white fragility,” which ghetto-nurtured Gay’s DEI documents say is derived from “the privilege that accrues to white people living in a society that protects and insulates them from race-based stress.”
As Breitbart News reported, Gay has been facing nationwide scrutiny since the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks against Israel due to her failure to properly respond to the matter.
The Harvard leadership botched its statement after more than 30 of its student groups signed a pro-terror later blaming Israel for the terrorist attack against itself.
Gay later delivered a disastrous testimony during a congressional hearing regarding antisemitism alongside the presidents of University of Pennsylvania and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Now, the Harvard president’s own Ph.D. dissertation is being called into question over allegations of plagiarism.

The real damage is to blacks who DID advance based on their merits. It has become impossible to see a black person in a high position without the clawing suspicion that they are perhaps merely fence post turtles.
There is no doubt about it: Obama was the most destructive president of the constitutional republic known as the USA in its history.
He said right out that he did not love the US. Because, one does not want to fundamentally change that which one loves.

The more you look over Gay and her ‘record’...you get the impression she was always given a ‘free-ride’ for HS, college and the PhD program. Harvard was stupid enough to hire her and think they were impressing the ‘right’ people. Firing her is easily done, but she’ll drag you into court and waste three years of university time/effort. I don’t think they want the pain.
So, dismal donations will occur, and more weak candidates will arrive for their program...convincing companies/firms that it falls into the category of Keiser University of Florida ranking or at the level of Savannah College of Art and Design...meaning the degree (even at tuition of $60k a year) makes the paper degree at the end worthless.
They (Harvard) can send her a message and just say your travel budget is cut to $3k a year, and see if she reacts. That type of cut would cease business-class travel and 4-star hotels.

It tells you a lot that Harvard’s Gay has fashioned an academic career
centered on failure, failed cultures, adverse behaviors, mediocrity, etc.
Gay’s choosing to emulate cultural ruination seems to be her highest aspiration.
She is dismantling our cultural norms when she should be building them up.
Academia should advance actions, behaviors and cultures that drive success. Harvard
should inspire students to be business leaders, professionals, with successful families, etc.
IMO, Claudine Gay is emblematic of the whole affirmative action/DIE agenda. Talentless, without contributing skills, and lacking in content of character, but handed a top position solely because of the color of her skin. It’s like a batboy who is credited with a home run because he once handed a bat to some random player.

In addition to the plagiarism allegations, she has also been stonewalling on requests for the data she used in some of her papers and thesis conclusions. This leads me to believe there is no raw data and that she simply made up numbers and conclusions.
Yep, and how many have already forgotten about the Florida State University who was recently fried after he was exposed falsifying 16 years of racism study data where he fabricated data by altering sample sizes to make the results appear more racist.

1. obama made Law Review because he was elected to it! In the old days, one made Law Review because one had among the highest first-year law school grades. But in recent years, that has been deemed “racist”!
2. Claudine Gay, being a serial plagiarist, is not qualified for ANY position at Harvard! And she made a wreck of the University—both as dean and president! Harvard allegedly is trying to fire her, but of course she has lawyered up so that she can do still more damage!
Harvard has enough of a history of excellence that it can still be saved—by a drastic housecleaning! As a PhD alumnus in science, I am rooting for the rebirth of Harvard! Lord have mercy!
