Former President Trump expressed confidence that fellow Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will endorse Trump’s reelection bid following reports Ramaswamy has canceled TV advertising ahead of the first primary contests.
“He will, I am sure, Endorse me. But Vivek is a good man, and is not done yet!” Trump wrote Wednesday on TruthSocial.
“We are focused on bringing out the voters we’ve identified — best way to reach them is using addressable advertising, mail, text, live calls and doors to communicate with our voters on Vivek’s vision for America, making their plan to caucus and turning them out,” Ramaswamy campaign press secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a Tuesday statement.
With the exception of former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, the GOP presidential primary field has steered clear of harsh criticisms of Trump, the Republican front-runner. Ramaswamy, however, has distinguished himself by repeatedly condemning his fellow candidates for insufficiently supporting the former president.
Although multiple candidates condemned a ruling by the Colorado Supreme Court barring Trump from the ballot under the 14th Amendment, Ramaswamy went further, pledging to remove himself from the Colorado ballot and calling on other candidates to do the same. He has also pledged to pardon Trump on the various federal charges he currently faces if elected.

Perhaps, we’ll see.
Wow, and an rude ineligible anchor baby jerk’s endorsement is worth what? Will it change or add a single new voter to Trump?
If he wants a future in politics.
Ramaswami is the only one who I like running in a primary against trump.
Because he’s making everybody else look like freaking idiots, and saying everything Trump would have said.
He’s almost like Trump’s surrogate, and he’s not bad-mouthing Trump.

I would predict the same thing. Rammy is running to get a job at Trump’s administration.
Ramaswamy is a Trump fanboy and will endorse him. He might be good for a cabinet secretary.
...which would further convince me that Ramaswamy has from the outset been running for vice-president.

Where, in India? He has zero future in the US. His behavior, lack of connection and understanding of US culture, and is desire to disenfranchise people under 25, etc. will leave him on the losing side of any vote. Worse, he’s not authentic.
And Trump hasn’t given him a nickname, which tells me Trump thinks highly of him.
It doesn’t take a Jean Dixon kind of person to know that.
You’re referring to Nimrata right?
Do you see any of the current candidates who are, in your opinion, authentic?
I’m still getting to know them. We have only encountered the candidates in limited, scripted, somewhat artificial kinds of presentations.
Vivek Ramaswamy seems to be Trump’s proxy in the debates.

That’s a fave phrase of GOPe/unipartiers, I’ve noticed
Yes, DeSantis, just he’s not a great candidate and he’s up against 24x7 Trump that’s overwhelming everyone and not always for the right reasons. No one can complete. Trump is the revenge in-your-face candidate, Christie is, well a great bull-dog to have on your side, but his politics are a bit moderate. Haley and Ramaswamy are ineligible so I write them off immediately. If she were eligible, Haley has her moments.
Go Swamy..
I think that is evident. But it’s not needed, and it won’t give him any push whatsoever. But Trump had better not pick him as his running mate either.
People used to say Obama ‘wasn’t eligible’ either, then look what happened. From the very start of the campaign, I expected Nicki to make a big splash in the pool of candidates. Her energy lights me up. DeSantis shows great promise as well. His expansive attack on Disney’s fiefdom was quite impressive.
My favorite scenario? Trump as Pres., with either DeSantis or Haley as VP, the third person becoming part of the cabinet.
All three candidates have shown great ability to get things done. They each have their own style of communication, and that’s okay. Best to be yourself as much as practically possible, while in an elected position.
