A Philadelphia suburb school district issued a memo instructing employees to remove Christmas-themed decorations and attire, following complaints from parents.
The district later clarified that holiday displays are not banned, but employees should aim to create an inclusive environment.
“As per Dr. Marseille” — Wagner Marseille, the superintendent of the Wallingford-Swathmore School District — “he has been receiving complaints from parents concerning District employees displaying ‘Christmas’ themed decorations and/or wearing clothing of the same nature,” the memo read.
“If you have decorated your bus with anything specific to the Christmas Holiday or any other decorations relating to a specific religion, please remove them immediately,” the memo added.
“In addition, employees are not instructed to wear clothing related to Christmas or any other religious holiday,” it said.
“Friday night, the district clarified their intent and said their initial message was ‘not clear,’” the Philadelphia station wrote.
“They went on to say holiday displays are not banned, but all employees should remember to create an ‘inclusive environment,’” it said.
This later led to controversy and criticism on social media.

Its pretty hard to decorate Christmas as not a specific religion. 🙄
You can’t even have Santa Claus. I think the whole point is to get people to deny something is happening when we all know it is happening. At the university, we were told not to say Christmas even though it is listed as a Federal Holiday on the calendar.
Don’t want to “offend” the invader azhos. This is their country now and Christians aren’t welcome here anymore.
***Who are those Crab Apples complaining about Christmas?***
Thanks for the reminder of CRABBY APPLETON from the old Tom Terrific cartoon on Captain Kangaroo from decades ago.
Are the families so liberal, they don't bother to celebrate Xmas in their own homes? Or are the schools listening to only the liberal non-Christian parents?
It's because you have logic, but the left has none.
Life imitates the First South Park Christmas Special.
A classic showing the problems with trying to cater to everyone.
You end up with Philip Glass composing the music for the Christmas Play.
I’d bet they would allow celebration of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha if requested.
Wagner Marseille is a Haitian who needs to be deported.
When you import third world, you become third world. This leftist foreign cretin would have no problem with Voodoo worship in schools. /spit
Two things:
1. Christmas is a national holiday... the only one during this period. They are government employees. Christmas is the only logical holiday that should be celebrated in government schools.
2. When parents call in to complain about the “lack of inclusivity” are they told they aren’t being very tolerant and inclusive themselves? No? Didn’t think so.
No, they don’t take a Christmas vacation; they take a “winter break”.
Religious freedom and all that... the Gov’t needs to stay out of it. Public bldgs etc... religious holidays etc... all religious activities including idol worship (fed holidays for anything, or anybody).
The Gov’t employee’s ( local, state, fed, military etc...) will weep and moan and there will be gnashing teeth. But... it’s time.
If you have faith, by all means celebrate it. The Gov’t doesn’t need to, and by the looks of things, shouldn’t.

those who don’t celebrate Christmas should work on the 25th.
We’ve been subject to this BS so long that I think we’ve lost the oriiginal nonsensical point: the notion that one is not a Christian and sees a Christmas tree or a Santa cut out and is “offended by its” or to phrase it in in the modern expression of this grievance, that one “feels excluded.” Really? Are there people who feel that way? Why do they feel that way in a culture that is absolutely branched in Christmas symbols?
Of course there are no people who reasonably that way, because it’s not reasonable to have those reactions. There are only people who say they feel that way for political purpose and/or are just a-holes
Muslims and atheists are probably the ones complaining along with demons rats that worship goat heads and beheading of infants.
These school board commissars across the country need to go!
