Former TV journalist Yekaterina Duntsova was disqualified on Saturday from running against President Vladimir Putin in an election next March because of alleged flaws in her application to register as a candidate.
Video from a meeting of the central electoral commission showed members voting unanimously to reject the candidacy of Duntsova, who had wanted to run on a platform to end the war in Ukraine and release political prisoners.
-snip-
The head of the electoral commission, Ella Pamfilova, offered words of consolation to Duntsova after her rejection.
"You are a young woman, you have everything ahead of you. Any minus can always be turned into a plus. Any experience is still an experience," Pamfilova said.

--- Canuck -- "So you're saying Putin and Democrats are the same"
--- WTOUAT -- "The differences between America and Russia are fading." Yours is a most apt comment. Kudos, albeit sad agreement.
"Fading." "Same." Oh look! Different words. With different meanings.
Something akin to "similar" versus "identical."
Or "the US and Canada are similar" as opposed to "the US and Canada are the same." Words. Meanings.
So many express the need to Laugh Out Loud. One of them is a clever boy.
Want to know which Freeper "would rather the world end in nuclear war than yield to Little Pukin?" Words. Meanings.
Sounds familiar.
lol...now we see where the deep state gets their ideas from...
I fully understand that when words become to confusing for you, you adopt the sloganizing with a graphic.
You fumble as you post a graphic with the word Nazi on it. Aside from the now-older Godwin's law, you rush to show Russia as a Nazi nation.
The National Socialist German Workers' Party, which attained power for only a short time and was defeated by the Allies, included an ally which lost 20 million in that five year war.
Oddly, you fail to observe that the National Socialists had allies in WWII which included some of those wacky Bandera enthusiasts, who were Nazi collaborators. Ah, well. History is difficult when complexities sully naive sloganeering.
Want to know which Freeper “would rather the world end in nuclear war than yield to Little Pukin?” Words. Meanings.
Show me what part I got wrong
Nice try, clever boy. Show me.... Prove to me.... While Canuck sits as judge and jury. Yawn. When one spots a rhetorical tar baby, the best thing to do....

The ‘free West’ is doing the same. If they can’t rig an election they’ll just take the people’s choice off the ballot.
That doesn’t excuse Russia or PRC, or Iran or NK, or any other variation of the neo-feudalist royalty.
The people behind these moves have been trying to put this particular genie back in the bottle since 1776. They aren’t ignorant of history; “those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it” doesn’t apply to people who *want* to repeat it.
Roman republic crumbles through moral decay, migration of foreigners into all aspects of Roman life, and eventually reliance on foreign troops with no real loyalty to Rome.
The collapse results in what is commonly known as the Dark Ages and oddly, trying to be PC and woke, the replacement term of “Migration Period” is probably both more accurate and more based.
These remnants of distant monetary and political dynasties want a new Dark Ages so they can have a neo-Feudalism. I’m sure there were Roman schemers who thought they could pit one barbarian group against another and emerge as the new imperial figures, but they ended up on spears just like the Roman commoners (vulgari, which I translate as “deplorables” hehe).
In other words, I got nothing wrong

Except all of your 4 replies (now 5) were prompted by just that one little picture
Now that’s an effective graphic! We’ll have to use that one again, lol ...
Effective little question. I'll have to use it again.
