Court documents say that witnesses on a flight from Washington, D.C., to Los Angeles overheard Colton saying he was "a part of the 'second wave' of rioters" in the Capitol Building on Jan. 6. The FBI confirmed that Colton was the person on that flight through a subpoena of passenger records.
Kinda scary that the person sitting next to you on a plane would turn you in to the Feds

You do have the right to take a seat on an airplane and not talk about your kids, cats, job, grandchildren and activities.
Just take your seat, eat your peanuts, read, and remain silent.

Is that the only evidence they have that he was there? The testimony of someone who was on a flight with him?

That’s known as “hearsay evidence” and is inadmissible in a court of law. The judge should have immediately thrown it out.

He was only arrested three days ago so I don’t think a judge has heard any testimony yet.

prediction of the future.
It will be like arresting WWII Nazi concentration camp guards when they're 89 years old.

That’s known as “hearsay evidence” and is inadmissible in a court of law. The judge should have immediately thrown it out. It's about destroying him financially.
The process is the punishment.

I forgot that the brains of many Americans shut off when they see the word "Nazi".
It's no biggie - you've been trained by the the best manipulators in the world - the American Media.
My point is that is there was REALLY some sort of problem with the 89-year-old guy, the issue would have been resolved decades before.
I have some small knowledge of the after-war judicial proceedings in Europe and Japan.
For instance, Vasily Blokhin, the dude who killed thousands of Polish officers as part of the Katyn massacre, remained free as a bird until he drank himself to death in 1955.

It stops when the purge the system, we will see in 2024 if trump hold to this
To: artichokegrower
This must be part of the corrupt DOJ plan. Someone in south Florida was just charged on January 6 related stuff. And the local Miami media is hyping it.
2024 is going to be filled with “the eeeevil Trump supporters live among us!” stories from the Democrat party and their buddies in the fake news business.
To: artichokegrower
Last couple of weeks there have been a bunch of new artists. Garland is strong-arming Trump supporters.

No, an admission of a defendant is not hearsay and is admissible.
