Authorities in Los Angeles County identified a 4-year-old boy who was killed last week in a deadly road rage incident while with his family.
Gor Adamyan was with his family in a vehicle as they were on their way to purchase groceries Friday evening in the Los Angeles suburb of Lancaster, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said. The boy was sitting in the back seat when another driver cut them off and began following them.
The family's car slowed down on Sierra Highway near East Avenue J when the other driver pulled up alongside their vehicle and began shooting, authorities said.

But they say the weather is nice there
I would guess from news about Philadelphia, it would be a good idea to stay out of certain areas there. I grew up in upstate NY but never went to Phillie or NYC....did move all the way to the west coast in my early twenties tho’...Moved to Sacramento and spent time at friends in the Bay Area - Redwood City, Belmont, Mountain View etc., and they seemed like safe places...moved to Southern CA and finally out of the state entirely - clear across the country but never back to NY! When we were ready to retire and get out of CA, Hillary was a NY Senator and we wanted no part of that - LOL! Don’t think it ever got any better either!
I couldn’t see anything in the article that would explain that reply..GMTA - must stand for something but I can’t figure it out - time for bed here anyway...Thanks...
What’s a safe area on the Peninsula? Hillsborough?
(I lived in downtown San Mateo for a few years, and we drove through Hillsborough all the time.)
Prayers up for the boy.
Much earlier story: (Detroit)

By The Associated Press
DETROIT — Two young men were charged with murder Tuesday in the death of a 2-year-old boy who was riding with his family when their pickup truck was hit with gunfire on Interstate 75 in Detroit.
The truck driven by Brian Christian was “mistakenly identified” by the pair, the Wayne County prosecutor’s office said. “The Christian family were innocent victims.”

Horrible.
Lord, please watch over the children.
I live in South San Francisco. It is in San Mateo County, some 10 to 15 miles south from the city of SF in SF County. Not to be confused with the big city.
Very safe here, very little crime. Worst thing going on are occasional thefts of catalytic converters overnight. People always out and about walking their dogs or riding bikes, without fear.
My grown up kids have lived in South City (as we call it), San Mateo, San Jose, Santa Cruz without problems. We worried when one lived in Oakland for a few years, thankfully in the Oakland hills but she commuted thru the badlands of Oakland on MLK Drive to her job in Emeryville (between Oakland and Berkeley). We were happy when she moved from Oakland to Kansas. She got bored there and moved to Austin (which isn't that safe), and then back here in SSF where she bought a home. She wouldn't have bought if she thought it wasn't safe.
I wouldn't live in Daly City (at the southern border of SF), I lived there for a few years decades ago and don't consider it safe anymore. San Jose is seeing some crime now, as it grew into a big city over the last 20 years.
The way I look at it, the SF Peninsula is much safer than the LA region, and definitely safer than anywhere on the east coast.
Yeah, I was wondering about that myself..
In 1998, I drove through East Palo Alto, and it was just like South-Central Los Angeles, or West Oakland. The contrast from the rest of the Peninsula was striking. I haven’t been there since, but with prices of bungalows in the rest of Palo Alto west of the freeway going for seven or eight figures, perhaps gentrification has set in.
“My goodness! Look at what the left has done to our nation. America was the law-abiding, God worshiping, freedom-loving nation that was the shining light on the hill just a couple of decades ago. Look at what we are now!”
Affirmative actions for Blacks and Illegals not being deported. Democrat party policy.
That is how we got here.
This slows down when we get serious and institute quick justice and the death penalty
My goodness! Look at what the left has done to our nation.
Indeed the weak with no self respect take everything the left offers them to be abnormal.
No rules is one of the strongest baits known to weak humans.
Yes. East Palo Alto is poor, in contrast to west Palo Alto. I used to fear driving through East Palo Alto in the 1980s and 1990s. The Dumbarton Bridge from Fremont would cross the Bay and exit at East Palo Alto. I would visit family in Fremont, a couple of my sisters moved there from SF because property is very cheap in Fremont. But lots of gang activity there. Same went for East Palo Alto. One time I had to gas up in East Palo Alto after exiting the bridge, and I thought I would get mugged by the criminal elements hanging around there. That was the last time I let my gas tank get so empty crossing the bridge.
Millionaires live in west Palo Alto, so the contrast is very striking. You won't find anything under 1 million, not even tiny bungalows. We shop at Stanford Shopping Center there. East Palo Alto has gentrified in the last 25 years, with a lot of commercial development. We shop at Ikea there, across the street from Amazon corporate buildings. Safer now than 25 years ago. If you visit, take the San Mateo/Hayward Bridge, much safer than the Dumbarton Bridge across SF Bay.
Really?
A couple of decades ago was 2003. You want to argue that people in LA were not shooting each other for stupid reasons in 2003?
