Authorities in Los Angeles County identified a 4-year-old boy who was killed last week in a deadly road rage incident while with his family.
Gor Adamyan was with his family in a vehicle as they were on their way to purchase groceries Friday evening in the Los Angeles suburb of Lancaster, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said. The boy was sitting in the back seat when another driver cut them off and began following them.
The family's car slowed down on Sierra Highway near East Avenue J when the other driver pulled up alongside their vehicle and began shooting, authorities said.

I went to the Daily Mail to see if they had an article on the shooting. Of course they do.

Had some experience in that area...my husband inherited acreage from his family and we were going to build a home out there but were warned against it by local realtors..Were told it would never be safe to leave home to go to town for groceries or leave the property for any length of time..without finding destruction on our return. We moved out of the state instead - LOL!!
There was a time not too long ago when LA’s outback, out east behind the mountains, was high desert Roy Rogers country. Violent crime was almost unheard of. Where seldom was heard a discouraging word and the skies were not cloudy all day.
Now it’s more similar to a low budget Mad Max horror movie.

I live in a safe area on the SF Peninsula. My Dad moved the family to SF around 1950, and he was born and raised in Philadelphia. So while visiting a cousin back east, I asked if she could show me where my Dad grew up. She shuddered and said "Oh, we would never ever go there!". After accidentally entering a ghetto area in my rental car I understood what she meant. I was panicking to get my family out of there as quickly as possible. Sometimes you don't want to be where your seniors lived.
Nobody saw anything except two headlights and a grill light...

I understand now how we will all be driving Mad Max vehicles. The government will outlaw ICE vehicles and oil will be in short supply. Conservatives with auto repair skills will be scrounging in old junk yards trying to piece together vehicles to drive while we work to find or “re-invent” oil and gas. 50 cal guns will be “must haves” for mounting on your car in order to keep the gang members with no skills in the trades from stealing them. It is gonna be quite a riot according to the Mad Max documentaries. Prepare accordingly! Don’t delay!

From reading several articles on the incident, I got the impression (maybe wrongly) that after the suspects cut them off, they slowed down and then pulled along side the victims’ car. Then when the victim’s car slowed down to let them go ahead, the thugs slowed down further, pulling along side them and opened fire. In other words, it was all deliberate and the thugs were toying with the victims just for fun and then ramped up their enjoyment by firing a few shots into the vehicle to torment them further and at that time killed the child in the back seat.
Such an adorable little boy.
How did our nation get to the point that we have such gang activity that was previously only common in Brazil or other third-world countries. Oh, I know! We have brought the 3rd-world element of criminals into our country and are supporting them with our hard-earned and ever shrinking dollars.
That happened when I moved out of that territory. #1 thing one must do is if a big nasty event occurs, you do not want to be in a major population center. Otherwise, you'll never make it out.
