I don’t recall this terminology but corporate HR likes this concept. The terms I remember most was “high talent”. “fast track” or “long runway” meaning they fit the EEO profile that HR likes (now DEI) and were young enough they could be bounced around in a string of positions to enhance their resume whilst always being promoted before they could be held to account for their incompetence. Onward and upward! Thinking about it, this probably originated in academia and was co-opted by big business since they all eat from the same trough.

One of the academics who has accused Harvard president Claudine Gay of ripping off her work claims the Ivy League school won’t condemn her because it holds “high pedigree” minorities to lower standards than others.

Ms. Gay is in no way “high pedigree”!

Her “scholarship” is loaded with plagiarisms, and is utterly worthless, like much “scholarship” in her bogus field!

Harvard should pull Gay’s PhD for plagiarism, and should unceremoniously fire her!

What may really happen is that she will be kicked upstairs to some position at a foundation. For Harvard’s sake, I hope that it happens soon.

By the way, I have a hard-won PhD in science from Harvard, based on experiments, not blather. So I know what I’m talking about. And I have a right to be incensed at Gay and all who made her dean and president!
