After years of trying to “protect democracy” and “fortify democracy”, Democrats finally succeeded in Oregon where they banned Republicans from running for office.
That’s what the Democrat flavor of democracy looks like.
When the Tennessee House of Representatives temporarily expelled two Democrats who had taken part in an insurrection on its grounds, the media quickly turned it into a national story.
The move by the Republican majority was an “attack on democracy”.
But when the Democrat majority in Oregon banned half the Republican Senate delegation from running for reelection, that has been treated as a local story. And not an “attack on democracy”.

Liberals project. What they accuse, they would do when in power. It’s pre-text. By doing what they accuse, they excuse it as an act that their opponents would have done anyway.
It’s from Goebbels.
Accuse your opponents of your evil and you don’t look as evil when you do it.
F/n dictator’s in America.
Obamanites at work.
Only in America, land of the free!
The reason people on the Left hate us and complain about all that we do is because they actually hate themselves...they just refuse to look inward for the truth.
While much of Oregon is actually conservative, some urban and suburban populations tilt the state sharply leftward. Oregon’s conservatives, who have been otherwise shut out of the legislative process, have taken to protesting extreme bills by staging walkouts.
Using walkouts to break legislative quorums is not an unusual tactic. Democrats have done it in Texas, Indiana and Wisconsin. But when Democrats practice it, as they do in Texas, it’s cheered by the media. In 2021, for example, Texas Democrats staged a 38 day walkout to block election reform. Democrats welcomed them to D.C. and the media portrayed them as heroes.

The solution here involves some currently regulated hardware and unfortunately loud noise.
Soon ‘banning Republicans’ will come to other states before it morphs into a national movement.
When the Tennessee House of Reps temporarily expelled two Democrats who had taken part in an insurrection on its grounds, the media quickly turned it into a national story. The move by the Republican majority was labeled as an “attack on democracy”.
But when the Democrat majority in Oregon banned half the Republican Senate delegation from running for reelection, that’s being treated as a “local story,” not for what it is.......an “attack on democracy”.
California has something similar. They created “open primaries” where all the candidates are on one ballot and then only allow the top two vote getters to go on to the main election. Often the top two are both Democrats.
They can’t do that! Oregon better wake the hell up and rid themselves of all these scum.
Or the Greater Idaho Movement will get stronger...a good thing...
No. This problem comes from a 1960s US Supreme Court ruling where they said it was “unconstitutional” to have state legislatures apportioned on geographic areas like the US Senate.
This is another “Constitutional right” they pulled out of their nether regions. Most states with bicameral legislatures had been apportioned like the House and Senate for nearly 200 years. Go back to apportioning legislatures like the House and Senate and a lot of this absurdity will go away peacefully.
This in a state where all elections are “Mail in Ballots”. I guess that cheating is just too much a hassle. We will just choose is to rule by fiat.
Next on the agenda is to confiscate all property own by ‘Non-leftist’ to pay for all the free stuff. We are giving to leftist organizations.
Don’t know if this will work in all circumstances. Those Democrats still look like crooks to me no matter what they say or try to pull. Just don’t trust about 99% of them.
They do NOT hate themselves, They are super-entitled to RULE over their “inferiors...” It has been that way since time began.
