Former Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), who headed the Republican House majority during former President Trump’s first two years in office, says that Trump is not conservative but instead an authoritarian narcissist whose guiding principle is to aggrandize himself.
Ryan defended former Republican Reps. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) for standing up to Trump and said many Republican lawmakers probably now regret not voting for impeachment charges and missing their chance to remove him from the political stage.

Record debt, bump-stock ban, re-authorization of FISA, signing the COVID CARES Act into law, nominating Wray, Barr, etc etc aren’t the hallmarks of “a very good conservative.”

Trump took over the Republican party with his America First agenda. In many ways, Trump is closer to a 70’s Democrat than the country club RINOs. Trump’s trade policies of tariffs and protectionism are what the old Democrats embraced. The RINOs love globalism and free trade, and many personally profit from it. Trumps wants the borders closed and safe. The RINOs are neoliberals who want to export jobs while importing labor. They love open borders and mass migration regardless of the social cost and destruction of traditional American society, based on European culture, and Judeo-Christian values. Trump should win the Republican nomination, but he needs to purge the RINOs from the party. That’s easier said than done, because the RINOs prefer to lose elections than their power. Trump needs to address the RINO problem head on, and stop worrying about just winning seats. RINOs are worse than Rats in many ways, because the will stab MAGA in the back every chance they get.
Every time Paul Rino opens his mouth he further proves himself to be a colossal a**hole.
Trump is hard working, reliable, and keeps his promises. Those aren’t the characteristics of a narcissist. Ryan, on the other hand...
I want nothing to do with “Republicans” like Paul Ryan. If he is what it means to be a “conservative” than the word conservative has no meaning and no value. Before President Trump, “conservative republicans” were just fine with progressive democrats mutilating America. Well, I am not fine with mutilating America. We have a problem, Paul and I.
