I hope he sticks around too. He has a loving home if he’ll just figure that out.
Sunday’s temps wouldn’t be too bad but that wind whipping is plenty to keep me inside. Wind like that pushes the cold clear through to the marrow. BRRRRRR
I’m getting a little rain tonight as scattered light showers move through. Not part of the cold front though. That hits tomorrow night. No frozen stuff expected except maybe in the mountains up around the Knoxville area on the back edge of the system.
I wouldn’t mind him staying. He seems healthy except for his injured eye and he’s not a hateful cat. He doesn’t really bully the others, but as one who has been hungry way too often, he’s sometimes aggressive at the food dish.
I hope the rain you’re getting now keeps on coming down for the rest of the evening. It’ll be so helpful. I agree...getting out in a biting wind is NOT my idea of fun. I did enough of that when I worked. I’m DONE with going somewhere when I don’t feel like it. LOL!
Well drat. I hoped you wouldn’t have to go in but the plow guys should have enough time by then to have all the streets cleared.
Shoveling the path you cleared to the mailbox should have been a snap compared to the ice chipping you did this week. LOL If you can just get that last foot chipped away, you should be good for a while.
I guess the mailmen up there don’t live by the slogan. LOL
That was cool. The little girl is too cute in the “group”. Thanks, Liberty...((HUGS))
Even some cats who have never gone hungry can get aggressive at the food dish. I have a few little beyotches - - Pixie’s girlies - - who are that way. They just don’t want to share, even though there’s always dry food in the dish.
I’m not getting steady rain tonight. A shower or two have come through and there are more moving up through MS and AL that will probably give me a little more after midnight. I’ll take what I can get.
When all’s said and done, we’re supposed to get between 1 and 2 inches. That’ll work!

Yesterday at Comanche Lake:

How's everyone doing this morning?
1 to 2 inches is a dream amount! We haven’t had any more since that week in November that was so nice. Might have some mid-week next week, but it doesn’t sound very promising.
Tux was a bit aggressive over food, but he just hogged the dishes. Went back and forth, thinking they were all his. He was learning...slowly...that he HAD a dish and it was all his. Kitties. Just like little kids. LOL! With claws.
Looking forward to your new project. I love the accompanying commentary.
A great song...and Elvis does a good job with it. Thanks.

It looks like you and Gizmo had a good outing at Comanche Lake yesterday.
Have you gotten your gas line all squared away? No more air in the line?

WOW!!! What a beautiful version...Queen Lili’uokalani.

And, of course, this demands an answer.

Sugar, Sugar--The Cadillacs (1957)
It’ll be great if we do get that much rain. Just have to wait and see.
I hope to get a little something out of the showers moving this way tonight. The one earlier didn’t do more than dot the dust on the car and leave one raindrop in the gauge. LOL
Since there’s always food in the large dish, the cats go up one at a time, most of the time, to get a nibble and walk off. When I refill it, though, most run up as if they haven’t eaten for days. They eat a couple of bites and walk off, silly cats.
But that’s when Lorien and Sophie show their butts and run the others off. The others will eat together but those two don’t want to share the dish with anyone, not even each other.
They’re worse than little kids. LOL

That is a great one. She was a treasure! I just found out she lived to be 103. Wow!
Taking it?
