Joe Biden may have to whip out the presidential pardon soon as his son is facing even more charges, including three felonies. The tax-related charges point to an “extravagant lifestyle” in which he spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on “adult entertainment.”

Hunter Biden allegedly engaged in a four year scheme and “spent millions of dollars on an extravagant lifestyle rather than paying his tax bills.”
Hunter Biden “engaged in a four-year scheme to not pay at least $1.4 million in self-assessed federal taxes he owed for tax years 2016 through 2019, from in or about January 2017 through in or about October 15, 2020, and to evade the assessment of taxes for tax year 2018 when he filed false returns in or about February 2020.” (ABC)

I imagine he’ll also be charged with 2 felonies of admiring a gun at a gun show (”the Trump felony”) which will be downgraded to a petty, petty misdemeanor by some “Feral judge” from Jamaica or India.
The point of this is so he can be shielded from the House investigation. The charges will be reduced and/or dropped later.
This is not what it appears. Hunter Biden now has an excuse NOT to answer to a congressional subpoena. They threw a bag over Hunter Biden to keep his crimes hidden. In today’s America, an indictment is created for POLITICAL advantage.
They will slow-walk the process for 4 more years, then pardon Hunter on the way out the door...............
There is absolutely zero chance that Hunter Biden is going to jail.
But will he cop a plea and finger the Big Guy? /snicker
If Biden does pardon Hunter that pardon will not work on future convictions.

now impeach Biden
His millionaire lawyer friend paid his tax bill last year for the upcoming plea deal thinking it would be less of penalty, charge drop down, etc.
I believe he will plea guilty to those charges and Papa will immediately pardon him.
Impeaching Biden accomplishes nothing. He will still be President and continue to destroy America.

The president can only pardon an individual for federal crimes.
Hunter can be convicted on state tax evasion and the president could do nothing about it.

Yes, Hunter is still unlikely to face prosecution, however an ambitious prosecutor may see Hunter as a path to higher office in a purple state.
