Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley passed Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) for second place in the GOP primary, according to a Wall Street Journal poll conducted days before Wednesday's GOP primary debate in which the former United Nations ambassador was the subject of repeated attacks.
Every Republican White House hopeful is still far behind former President Donald Trump, who holds 59% of the vote, according to the poll released Thursday. Haley narrowly surpassed DeSantis, who has been stuck in neutral for months, polling at 15% compared to the Florida governor’s 14%.

It doesn’t matter none of these establishment clowns are going to be the nominee.. right now the goal is to try to consolidate as much support as possible around one of them so that they can try to pressure Trump into accepting whoever it isa s the VP... Much like they forced Bush onto Reagan.
Hopefully Trump will have none of it.
I think he has learned a lot since 2016, and has figured out that the establishment GOP is just as much his enemy as any Democrat will ever be.. EVEN MORE SO.... because he literally is a threat to the establishment GOP’s existence.. the Dems will keep on trucking along regardless or not Trump is in the white house.. but the establishment GOP has to know they will be #1 targets if Trump wins.

Wait a minute. I thought that DeSantis fell behind Niki Haley 2 months ago, and then it was one month ago they said DeSantis suddenly fell behind Haley, and now they are claiming it again like it is a first. Hmmm.
And still the biggest Trump groupies on FR for months on end keep obsessing over only DeSantis on a daily basis with rehashed yarns written from the same tiny triad of Trump surrogates.
And his gane changing debate with newsom, where he defly told the country how he was told by newsom's father in law that he moved from california to florida for better government, less taxes and crime..... but forgot to mention he had moved to montanna first, before florida ...

Maybe, when desanctimonious drops out of the race and stops being in the media and desantis supporting nevertrumpers stop promoting him, Trump people will stop talking about desanctus.
But, then again, the desantis supporters will just move to promoting haley, and we’ll all be talking about haley, and starting the cycle again until she drops out

In the extremely unlikely event that Nikki Haley earns the GOP nomination for president, she will face absolutely zero serious challenges to her eligibility. The issue will be nothing more than unhinged cranks whining on the internet about anchor babies and Emer de Vattel.
