Biden to Congress: Help Ukraine Now or Send Americans to Fight Russia With NATO Later

Or disband NATO and let Europe defend itself. We've been paying for their defense for the last 75 years - when do we finally get free from this burden? Never?

I have said from the very beginning: I have no problem providing Ukraine with arms and materiel to help it fight the Russian invasion; but I do NOT support putting US boots on the ground in Ukraine or US helmets in the air above Ukraine in this war. My position has not changed.

Europe is not our friend, but a parasite that has been pulling our strings for over a century. Russia can have them as far as I’m concerned.

“Biden to Congress: Help Ukraine Now or Send Americans to Fight Russia With NATO Later”

It’s a last-ditch, desperate, push, as the Republicans have Biden cornered - if he wants the money needed to start World War 3 in Ukraine, then he’ll also have to SECURE the Southern Border.

Given those two options, I suspect he’ll suck it up and cut Ukraine loose, as replacement of America’s White population is their Prime Directive, at this point.

Only a hardened America hater would say something so heinous.......”if we dont dump pallets of tax dollars over there, “Putin takes Ukraine, and he won’t stop there,” dimwit Biden warned. “We’ll have what we don’t have today: American troops fighting Russian troops.”

This fleabitten bag of bones has absolutely no concern for America’s interests whatsoever.

““If Putin takes Ukraine, he won’t stop there,” Biden warned. “

It’s high time the farcical NATO treaty is exposed as the empty promise it is.

It would be extremely difficult to convince Americans to engage in an existential nuclear war over Britain, much less over Bulgaria or Latvia.

Biden to Congress: Help Ukraine Now or Send Americans to Fight Russia With NATO Later

What, if anything, does the 'War Powers Act' provide to thwart Biden getting us into a war with Russia? The 'War Powers Act' is not very clear IMHO. Did Congress properly applied/used the act with our recent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan?

IMHO - Congress uses its given power when they believe it's to their interest but they punt to the courts, President and/or agencies when they want to avoid responsibility or controversy.

Who's on first?

Thank you for referencing that article SeekAndFind.

"Biden to Congress [??? emphasis added]: Help Ukraine Now or Send Americans to Fight Russia With NATO Later"

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

The drafters of the Constitution gave the power to declare war uniquely to Congress, not to POTUS. After all, it's uniquely Congress's (House) decision to finance a war.

Note that Justice Joseph Story had clarified that using peacetime taxpayer dollars for foreign aid and subsidies is unconstitutional.

If the tax be not proposed for the common defence, or general welfare, but for other objects, wholly extraneous, (as for instance, for propagating Mahometanism among the Turks, or giving aids and subsidies to a foreign nation, to build palaces for its kings, or erect monuments to its heroes,) it would be wholly indefensible upon constitutional principles [emphases added].” — Justice Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution 2 (1833).

So in addition to unconstitutional taxing and spending for foreign aid and subsidies, post 17th Amendment ratification career federal lawmakers are once again using Biden as a scapegoat for their unconstitutional policies, this time for their "war hawk" dirty work imo.

The remedy for corrupt state and federal governments is that all Trump-supporting patriots need to ASAP primary all state and federal incumbent lawmakers and executives in 2024, except for MTG, Gaetz & Company (and others?).

Trump supporters need to replace incumbents with patriots who will not only support Trump to finish draining the swamp, but will also support Trump to put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes by repealing the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments (16&17A).

Consider the repealing of 16&17A as part of reparations for victim taxpayers of the unconstitutionally big federal government having to pay a lifetime of unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that Congress cannot reasonably justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers and a few other constitutionally enumerated expenses.

Finally, consider that corrupt political party and media fuss about "obsolete" electoral college is because the electoral college is the only thing stopping the corrupt political parties from establishing a permanent puppet presidency that will unquestioningly sign unconstitutional taxing and spending bills into law.

The Russia-Ukraine war is all about how far East NATO can expand, because without Ukraine in NATO no smart money will invest there, and Ukraine can’t join the EU. Putin is already on record offering to split Ukraine with Poland. This could have been negotiated. Instead we are holding to international law and funding Ukraine. If enough Ruskies die in Ukraine, it could cause another civil war in Russia. Maybe that’s what the international elites want, but that just makes China stronger. If Russia splinters, China could reclaim Siberia and all of its mineral wealth. While all of that is interesting, it is the U.S. taxpayer who is funding this war. Certain elites are making big money from the war while hundreds of thousands are dead in Russia and Ukraine.

There are many generations of dead soldiers strewn across Russia’s front porch. And many more until the return of Jesus. The rulers of men think this time it will be different.
