Speaker Mike Johnson said Tuesday that House Republicans are blurring footage from the Capitol attack before releasing it publicly because they don't want Jan. 6 rioters to be charged with crimes.
"We have to blur some faces of persons who participated in the events of that day because we don’t want them to be retaliated against and to be charged by the DOJ," Johnson said Tuesday.

The FBI already has the clear images. This is to protect the FBI agents involved from discovery.

It would be great if they blurred just the protesters and not the FBI agents and informers. THAT would be a great Christmas present.
Just check the shoes. If they are wearing business-style shoes, they are FBI plants.

I would assume Mike Johnson has been threatened by the FBI.
They weren’t and aren’t rioters. They’re law abiding US Citizens that were exercising their 2nd amendment right to assemble.

The FBI and DOJ have had the raw footage for 3 years. They still have the (not blurred) original footage.
The only reason to keep us from seeing it is to protect LEOs comfiting their illegal acts.

Good question, but what the DOJ has done to J6 political prisoners is criminal. Question is, should precautions be taken?
