The California High-Speed Rail has received its biggest boost from the federal government yet, being awarded more than $3 billion in grant funding through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
The announcement was made Tuesday and was confirmed by California Sen. Alex Padilla and Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

I recall the cost per mile through the Bay Area proper was close to one billion per mile. Triple that and it will be more accurate.
I wonder how much of the route will go through Pelosi owned property.

Sounds like a continual scamming of American taxpayers. But who cares, JoeB and his ilk are mostly likely, someway and somehow, all receiving their 10% kickback. How many decades has this insane project been being funded? Are such dream/nightmare trains necessary?
