Trump’s VP: Ranking the candidates from most likely to least
The Hill ^ | 12/03/2023 | Brett Samuels

The Republican presidential primary calendar won’t officially kick off until the Jan. 15, 2024, Iowa caucuses, but former President Trump’s dominant position in the polls has already sparked chatter about who could join him on a general election ticket.

Trump is leading his primary rivals by an average of 60 percent at the national level and more than 20 percent in state surveys, creating a sense that the nomination is his to lose.

Some have started to look beyond the primary calendar and toward a rematch between Trump and President Biden, with former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and others weighing in on who should join Trump on the GOP ballot.

Always rely on the “Hill” for accurate Trump information.

Not.

Pompeo is a RINO snake globalist. No more CIA candidates.
He will not be chosen.

I dunno....The only thing I can caution against is to do an n-depth search for any candidate tendencies or symptoms of Pence-itis.

‘Qualifications’ usually means being an insider - which is the opposite of what we want. What qualifications did Trump have in 2016?

Ben Carson would be great!

RE: Mike Pompeo is a RINO Snake globalist

Mike Pompeo’s views on globalization are complex and have evolved over time. He has made statements that could be interpreted as both supportive and critical of globalization.

In favor of globalization:

* As Congressman, He has spoken about the benefits of free trade and open markets, arguing that they have lifted millions of people out of poverty

* He has also been a vocal critic of protectionism, arguing that it harms consumers and businesses alike.

* He has supported international cooperation on issues such as nuclear proliferation.

More recently he has been Critical of globalization:

*He has expressed concerns about the loss of American manufacturing jobs to globalization.

* He has also been critical of the rise of China and their theft of American intellectual property , arguing that it is a threat to American interests.

* He has supported policies such as the Trump administration’s ( and Peter Navarro’s) tariffs on Chinese goods.

Overall, it is difficult to say definitively whether Pompeo is a globalist or not. His views seem to be more nuanced than a simple binary label. He appears to support some aspects of globalization, such as free trade, while being critical of others, such as the loss of American jobs.

And if being director of the CIA disqualifies a person from being President, I guess anyone with a desire to be President ought to decline a CIA appointment, even if offered by President Trump.

The VP candidate will always be someone with GOP establishment ties. That’s because the party leaders pick the VP candidate, not the nominee and not the primary voters.

For this reason, you can eliminate any “outsiders” with no political pedigree from consideration. That means no Vivek, and probably no Ben Carson either.

It should be Kristi Noem. She helps minimizes Trump’s weak points in so many ways, and when making this kind of selection you simply can’t go wrong with a rancher’s daughter. :-)

It has to be someone who is FULLY AWARE of all the damage that has been done to this country (including rigged elections), and knows how the deep state operates, is NOT COMPROMISED, and has the COURAGE and STRENGTH to continue the fight against the DS.

Very few meet these qualifications.

Loyalty to Trump is another one. Anyone running against him is disqualified, IMO, because they are already compromised, and willing to push the deep state lie that 2020 was a legitimate election.

My Two Cents

I guess Kari Lake wasn’t even mentioned because she will be running for U.S. Senate here in Arizona in a likely 3-way race.

Nobody ever seems to mention Greg Abbott. There must be a reason?

Pompeo is a “Deep State/Swamp” hack right out of central casting. I would never trust someone whose career path reads like a Military Industrial Complex caricature:

Military —> Defense Contractor —> Congress —> CIA

You have to be kidding me.

Watched Tucker Carlson on Roseanne Barr’s pod cast. He absolutely hates Pompeo. I was shocked. I’ve never really heard bad things about Pompeo...but, Tucker goes into details on why Pompeo is evil.

Check out the podcast and see what you think.

Kristi is great, but she does not have the internal fortitude to stand up to the 24/7 hatred of the MSM.

On the other hand Lake and Greene are pretty much used to it and can stand up for themselves.

Regardless, the worst of these three would be 100 times better than traitorous Pence. And the least intelligent would have 1000 times the brain power of Harris.

Imagine one of these three actually becoming VP and getting Harris’s job of cleaning up the southern border. And stopping the flow as well as sending back home all the millions of illegals in this country. This girl would then be our next Prez after Trump.
