Any more cowardly? Any more easily and willingly steamrolled?
Not likely.
There are a few good men and women, to be sure, but they are too few to fight the limp-wristed, irresolute majority of their colleagues.
Most of them work for the opposition, Kevin McCarthy being the recent prime example. He made promises to become Speaker, did not keep any of them, and was justifiably dethroned.

The U.S. cannot last as a free country if we continue to wait until medical science perfects testicular and spinal transplants for the current Republican “road apples” in the House and Senate.
That was crucial destruction point of our nation put over with seemingly little objection at the time, mostly due to sympathy for Ted's brother being assassinated. Ironic considering that LBJ along with the CIA may have been ultimately responsible.
But Ted, being the epitome of swine, was utterly down with trashing the last of his better brother's legacy for the sake of destroying sensible immigration policy for the sake of potentially Democrat vote majority...while uttering the blatant lie that passing that bill would not harm our nation.
Also 1965 brought us the Civil Rights Act that actually re-enslaved black citizens with it's assurance of rewarding black women for raising children without fathers. Primary sponsor after LBJ, Ted Kennedy.

The judiciary committee is supposed to clean up the judges and the courts.
They have constitutional authority to do this.

Many of the Republican lawmakers in the 1950s were already leftists way back then.
I trust those politicians that did everything in their power to stop these country killing violent open borders which are now a national security nightmare, and the politicians who did everything in their power to avoid being 33 trillion in debt, and the politicians who did everything in their power to stop the country killing policies of being the world cop and global welfare agency.
But these people don't exist do they?
