Hundreds of German police officers raided the properties of Hamas members and followers of the terrorist group on Thursday morning in the wake of a formal ban on any action by or in support of the anti-Israel activists.
The German government implemented the ban on Nov. 2 and dissolved Samidoun, an Islamist group behind a celebration in Berlin of Hamas’ Oct. 7 terror attack on Israel that claimed approximately 1,200 lives.
The pre-dawn strike came just hours after Switzerland announced it is readying legislation to ban the Palestinian group plus its followers, as Breitbart News reported.
AP reports Germany’s domestic intelligence service estimates Hamas has around 450 members in the country. Their activities range from vocal support and propaganda activities to financing and fundraising activities to strengthen the terror organization abroad.
“We are continuing our consistent action against radical Islamists,” German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser reportedly said. “By banning Hamas and Samidoun in Germany, we have sent a clear signal that we will not tolerate any glorification or support of Hamas’ barbaric terror against Israel.”

Buncha Islamaphobes. That’s no way to treat your guests.
I don’t agree or support Hamas, but this group seems like they are just protesting and attempting to persuade others to their side. The Germans seems like they want to re-create the Gestapo.
Several Euro countries are clearing out the Hamas trash
good riddance
Hey Biteme, this is how it’s done!
“The Germans seems like they want to re-create the Gestapo.”
Sadly, history just might repeat itself. The Germans may have to reorganize WWII style just to cleanse their country of trash none of the citizenry wanted in the first place.
“but this group seems like they are just protesting”
An effective terrorist operation may put on fronts in other countries just like the KGB and other commie operations did. Just because this bunch appears to be sweet and innocent does not mean they are not terrorists.
Every Western open-border nation has let terrorists in that are in effect a fifth column. I kinda think the Krauts figured this one out.
I’m sure that these raids will only net a few hundred of the most vocal, but not touch the millions of “New Germans” who also support the baby burners. That will pacify the proles and not irritate the elites too much.
Stopping the financing and fundraising activities for Hamas is one thing, but not allowing demonstrations (assuming they are peaceful) is the beginning of fascism. Free speech applies to everyone even those expressing opinions you don’t like. I get that the Germans have guilt over their persecution of Jews in the Holocaust, but this is not the way to respond in this situation. It seems German society has certain fascistic inclinations lurking just beneath the surface. They showed these same tendencies when dealing with covid. Those supporting this obviously don’t respect the principle of free speech.
Every country should do this, including ours!
Kill them all, wherever they hide. Track them all down for the next 50 years like Mossoud.
If the group does something illegal, go after them. Calling everyone you don’t like a terrorist is totalitarianism. What is next, Christians, anti-open border groups, Latin mass attendees?
It’s one thing to discuss free speech. But there’s plenty of violence going on at protests that needs to be addressed. People should be charged criminally if they’re committing violent acts, vandalism, or encouraging others so to do. This is an excellent article discussing just that...

“I don’t agree or support Hamas, but this group seems like they are just protesting and attempting to persuade others to their side.”
That’s the problem...they’re side is mass murderers committed to killing every Jew, wherever they can. It was easy to look the other way when it was pin-pricks, but harder now, since it seems this bunch is just like a reincarnation of the Third Reich and is totally serious about ‘finishing the job’ that Hitler started.
Quite a lot of terrorist organizing, support, funding, supplying can be done in the name of peacefully protesting.
It’s always the same old contention: One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.
For my part, anyone supporting Hamas atrocties in any form doesn’t warrant the least bit of sufferance.
* atrocities
There is only one country on the planet that has the equivalent of the First Amendment: The U.S.
In spite of Bidet Goons constantly undermining it through speech control.
Other countries just don’t have that principle.
“Other countries just don’t have that principle.”
Those that don’t have it should as it’s a basic human right.
” People should be charged criminally if they’re committing violent acts, vandalism, or encouraging others so to do.”
I agree that’s why I qualified my response as referring only to “peaceful demonstrations”. Once they break the law by using physical violence or property destruction that’s an entirely different matter. I’ve watch a number of videos of the German police (Gestapo) in action and they were violently breaking up even peaceful demonstrations.
Now if only America could do the same.
I agree! It’s time to send every last muzzy to hell where they belong!
