The guys are going to come Monday to put in the new line for the gas meter. I've been doing well with the space heater, slept really good last night.

This rain is coming up from the south, rather than from the northwest, and that usually gives us a good shot at decent rainfall. I only got 2 inches of rain at the farm last month. Most of the state is still in extreme drought and that’s scary.
That is scary that you had so little rain. Your area just isn’t “built” for that kind of dryness. I hope the rain comes and stops the chances of more dangerous wildfires.

Yeah. That’s only 3 1/2 inches here since September 1st. WAY below normal. I know there are some wildfires in the mountains but don’t know how many or how big they are.
This rain is supposed to hit our area and on up through the mountains - - where it’s needed the most right now. I hope the predictions are right.
I hope you begin to see some on the radar before long....headed your way! My forecast says we should be getting some rain in the next hour, but it sure doesn’t seem like it. Who knows. The last bunch was a surprise.
I’ve been watching the rain move up all night. Comin’ up pretty fast too. It was down by the coast when I first checked and now it’s almost to the TN state line. That reminds me - - I need to go out to dump the rain gauge. All 2 tenths of an inch in it. LOL
It looks like the rain down your way passed just above you. :-(
But then, there’s a narrow band of rain building up south of you that might give you a little something. I hope so!
I’m hoping for both of us to get some, but especially y’all.

None of them are worthy of holding office for they haven’t honored their Oaths Of Office to protect this nation from our enemies foreign & domestic; they do not support nor honor the US military. Most are attempting to destroy it. Case closed.
