Greetings to all at the Canteen!
To all our military men and women, past and present,
Howdy, Kathy.
HUMP DAY!! Do you have any hair left or did you pull it all out the past couple of days?
Good evening, radu...you are quick tonight!
I got lucky. Had everything ready to go and the thread was posted during a commercial break on Survivor. AND I had internet signal for a few minutes. D*** Comcast just wont get their act straight and stop these interruptions. Three nights in a row now. It was gone for a few hours late last night.
Hai Kathy! (((Hugs))) here, sorta ☺
Hi Kathy, thanks for tonight’s Canteen and for remembering and honoring our Troops!
Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
I made it and have no hair left. Lots of corrections to do the next 2 days. Ran out of time for them, and as they did not cause any OVER PAYMENTS, they will have to wait for research Thursday and Friday.
AND....the temps are back to freezing and my driveway is a sheet of ice. I’ve put down ice melt and am trying to make a path to my mailbox.
Hope you had a good day.

Good evening, Janey...((HUGS))...still having nice weather?
Bible in a Year:
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
Weeks later, their conditions became manageable. God seemed to be saying: “There are times when I use medicines to heal. But medicines don’t have the final say; I do. Don’t place your trust in them, but in Me.”
In Psalm 20, King David took comfort in God’s trustworthiness. The Israelites had a powerful army, but they knew that their biggest strength came from “the name of the Lord” (v. 7). They placed their trust in God’s name—in who He is, His unchanging character, and unfailing promises. They held on to the truth that He who is sovereign and powerful over all situations would hear their prayers and deliver them from their enemies (v. 6).
While God may use the resources of this world to help us, ultimately, victory over our problems comes from Him. Whether He gives us a resolution or the grace to endure, we can trust that He’ll be to us all that He says He is. We don’t have to be overwhelmed by our troubles, but we can face them with His hope and peace. .
Reflect & Pray
In your personal battles, where or in what do you place your trust? How might trusting in God’s name change the way you cope with these challenges?
Heavenly Father, give me the courage to trust in You. Help me to believe that You’re all that You promise to be.
I figured it was a rough beginning to the week. :-(
I noticed it’s gotten colder up there again. No more sloppy wet. Just an icy sheen. BRRRRRRRRR!!! Keep those spikies handy!!!
It warmed up here a little today but there was still enough breeze to make it nippy. Took the station wagon to the “doctor” this afternoon and look forward to having ol’ Betsy back on the road again soon. From all appearances, she needs a new fuel pump.
Now kicked back for a Wed. night of Survivor and Amazing Race. LOL
Evening, Kathy!
Good evening, Pro...we must remember!
Hope you are staying warm. Our warm spell seems to be over. We are now headed into the 20s and teens and freezing of all the ice from the heat wave. GRRRR!!
Howdy, luvie.
How’s it goin’ down your way?
A little warmer here today but it would sure be nice to get some of your 60-degree temps. :-)
Bummer you missed the full moon the other night. It was beautiful and bright.
Having freezing fog, other thsn tat all okay (((Hugs)))
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...any coyotes or bears that need your big stick?
Hope you and Tippy are able to take your walks in peace.
Hey there, radu!
It was a great day. Cool and sunny with a bit of a breeze. I even felt energetic enough to do some much needed housework. It’s been very neglected lately.
Glad you got a warm-up today. That should have given you some extra energy, too!
Yeah, I think one reason I missed the full moon was that it was cloudy and I never saw a hint of it coming for days in advance. Plus I thought it was after the 1st for some reason. The covid fog maybe.
