Seems intentional, at least judging by how many here support it, as it defies all logic, if our leaders REALLY wanted to maintain superpower status. In other words, why start a war in the backyard of a superpower when our military is spending most of their time planning their next Drag Queen Parade? It has to be INTENTIONAL.
