Denver has been plagued with crime and rising auto thefts in recent years.
Biden landed in Denver Tuesday afternoon for a campaign event and was greeted by Johnston at Air Force One.
A spokesperson for Johnston’s office confirmed that his car was stolen but declined to offer additional details about what had happened — or where.

I drove through town in August past Empower Field and the State Capitol probably good I didn’t park my car in the center of the city.
I stayed out in Wheat Ridge where the hotel was warning us about the crime around the building and the homeless encampment was right across the street.
Too bad mayor didn’t get severely pistol whipped in the process.

I hope all Dem pols get a taste of what they and their party of dopes have created. I’m in the Denver area. My car was stolen in 2019. Not a fun feeling. Luckily it was retrieved relatively unscathed that night. I got very lucky. But there was a lot of hassle and fallout and stress from the known criminal drug addict that did it. He eventually got caught right as the world was finding out about COVID in December 2019. His trial was sometime in the Spring of 2020 for his various crimes all around the area. I betcha he got out in short order. From what I have read, Colorado has more car thefts than any other state.

Now that HIS car has been stolen he wants to make car stealing a felony again. He should be tarred and feathered. Amazing what people will put up with. I had enough of the Denver metroplex and got out about 15 years ago. Best move ever.
Yup, per capita. Not total count. California and Texas lead for total actual counts (with Colorado being fifth in total count). And New Mexico (where I'm located) is fifth per capita.
I had a co-worker who left his car running to warm up in Albuquerque several years back. Went inside, he claims, for only a few seconds, and it was stolen from his driveway. Insurance replaced it. He did the same thing with the new car, and it also got stolen. However, that one was recovered later in the day. You'd think he'd have learned his lesson the first time. Some people are slow learners.
I’m paying just over $1000+ every six months for two cars... liability only. My 18 year old daughter is now on the policy so that made it go up, of course.

Wow on your friend’s story. Yeh, I’m extra cautious as far as my car. On a related note, earlier this year, I guess I forgot to lock one of the cars that sits in the driveway. I’m very good about that, but somehow I forgot. The thief wannabe musta thought they could steal it like a Hyundai/Kia. They couldn’t. Ripped the ignition out. Cost me $2k out of pocket to replace. I went out the next morning to start my car to take my mom to the hospital, and couldn’t. I wish the PsOS that do this sort of thing would be injured badly. Of course, hard working taxpayers would have to foot the bill for their rehab. Anyway, that totally unnecessary $2k hurt. I’m a warehouse worker. I’m getting older. It’s not fun to live in this country any longer. So yes, I want massive bad luck shit to happen to any Dem pol. And many complicit Repugnicans.
