... Biden on Monday will convene the first meeting of his supply chain resilience council, using the event to announce 30 actions to improve access to medicine and needed economic data and other programs tied to the production and shipment of goods.
“We’re determined to keep working to bring down prices for American consumers and ensure the resilience of our supply chains for the future,” said Lael Brainard

The word has apparently gone out: promote every photo op this occupant is given, so as to continue the charade he is competent.
Sounds like the democrats are moving forward on creating a command economy. Not to nationalize businesses…but to tell them what to do.
Hello, fascism.
Will they be arriving in limos or clown cars?
Supply chains are important, but technically have nothing to do with keeping down prices.
Prices are all about Supply and Demand. And, yes, supply chain disruptions will affect Supply, and thereby impact prices. But I worry about political leaders who want to focus on supply chains because they want to bring down prices.
Go smell some little girls Pedo Joe! or call a cap for the day! anything but destroy the economy anymore than you already have.
Oh, great. Another federal bureaucracy is born.
And now a word from the Gipper:
“We’re determined to keep working to bring down prices for American consumers and ensure the resilience of our supply chains for the future,”
No they are not, they are determined to cutting supply and killing us off as soon as possible.
Another less than useless, interfering “council” that will accomplish nothing, produce ignorant reports, and never be heard from again.
“…bring down prices for American” — Brainard better talk to the fed about inflation.
A gazillion fed idiots have said the same thing and not one of them has done that. Government under Trump or a Reagan slashes regulations and unleashes capitalism which does increase supply and brings down prices. These jerks think MORE regulations will reduce prices.
Yeah, but they have the important buzzword going for them — “resilience.”
I think I found their picture on the internet:

Biden will convene his new supply chain council.
China owns and operate 90% of commercial ports in America they control our supply chain Biden’s has a lot of sucking up and deal making to do.
Controlling the means of production is, IIRC, a Marxist goal.
The pronoun cr** should go away. Call yourself anythng you want...but do I have to do the same...that's ridiculous.
No more ships....will use rafts from here on in.
Another term for this is central planning. Doesn’t ever work.
There never was a problem when it was left to private enterprise and without Democrat interference.
Supply chain, with on-time delivery.
First in line = Depends, then ice cream.
But letting the businesses remain in “ private ownership” of individuals and businesses that comply with govt orders……willingly or by coercion….is fascism
A much more efficient way to exploit human self-interest, greed and talent than by turning the means of production over to central govt bureaucrats and party loyalists….as history showed by the economic failure of Marxist communism in Russia.
Modern Russia is actually no longer a textbook example of communism
I depend on getting four prescriptions every month, one comes from a specialty pharmacy. Biden and his “supply chain council” better not screw things up…
I can fix with this with one phone call.
“Governor Newsome, you have 30 days to fix your supply chain issues, fix your non-constitutional restrictions on trucking, and fix your harbor and docking restrictions.”
Done. Our supply chain issues are the direct result of Newsome’s actions. Also, Mayor Pete should be held directly responsible for not doing anything about it.
