Former National Security Adviser John Bolton said Thursday on CNN’s “News Central” that “Hamas couldn’t care less about a humanitarian pause” but was using it to get to a ceasefire.
Bolton said, “The game that’s being played here is Hamas couldn’t care less about a humanitarian pause. What they’re interested in is getting a pause started, and then extending it to become a truce, and then extending it further to become a ceasefire. Now, that may not happen all at once, but Hamas benefits more than the Israeli Defense Forces do by having this pause.”

As long as there is a pause Hamas is in control. They’re going to drag out releasing those 50 hostages as long as they can. I’ll bet they call for an extension of the pause with some lame excuse, “we can’t locate them” or something else.
I think Israel will watch the Hamas “activities” in real time and things won’t go well for Hamas very shortly thereafter.

I would be wanting all of the hostages released to cause me to stop beating the sh— out of them after what they did, not just 50. Obviously a delaying game.

They don’t believe in ceasefire and are probably using it to rearm so they can launch a few more missiles into Israel and fortify their current locations. They don’t ever tell the truth, they don’t ever do what they say or agree to, and they are fixated with the desire to die for their God. And that’s a terrorist. Rope-a-dope.

There was a cease fire in place on October 6th.
Hamas broke the cease fire on October 7th.
No more cease fires for Hamas.
Most of the hostages are probably already dead.
