Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that he has survived multiple Russian assassination attempts on his life and that there is an ongoing Kremlin plot to take him out before the end of the year.
Speaking with Britain’s largest circulation newspaper, The Sun, Zelensky said that there have been at least “five or six” assassination plots against him by Moscow since the Russian invasion of his country last year that have been foiled by Ukrainian intelligence services.
“The first one is very interesting, when it is the first time, and after that it is just like Covid. First of all people don’t know what to do with it and it’s looking very scary. And then after that, it is just intelligence sharing with you detail that one more group came to Ukraine to [attempt] this,” he told the paper.

Frankly, I’d be disappointed if the Russians were not trying to kill one of the few people to stand up to them and successfully stymie their imperialist goals.
For one thing he has not been in Ukraine in years. He is more afraid of his own people.
One thing you can say about Russians if they want you dead your dead.
I’m sure he’s right about the number of assassination attempts. But I wonder if maybe the CIA was behind some of them. He should wonder about that, too.
The former Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett dropped the dime on Zelenski hiding in a bunker until Putin gave him personal assurances he wasn’t gonna kill Zelenski.
Nowadays its more likely domestic rivals trying to get rid of Zelenski...perhaps with Western backing, who knows?
