The Emerson College/Fox 8 Cleveland poll, published on Thursday, shows that 50 percent of registered voters in the Buckeye State back Trump for the presidency in a two-way race with Biden. Biden, who holds an abysmal 32 percent approval rating in this poll, sits 12 points behind Trump at 38 percent, with another 12 percent undecided.
Trump supporters were asked if they would still vote for Trump if he were convicted down the line in one of his four criminal cases. More than four in five would vote for Trump even if convicted, while seven percent would not support him. Twelve percent are unsure if a conviction would change their minds.
When the ballot is expanded to include declared third-party presidential candidates independent Robert Kennedy Jr., Green Party candidate Cornel West, and progressive Jill Stein, Biden loses more support than Trump, whose lead expands.
Trump leads the pack with 45 percent in this scenario. The gap between Trump and Biden widens to 14 percent, with the current president taking 31 percent of the response. Kennedy followed with eight percent, Stein garnered two percent, and one percent would vote for West. Thirteen percent of voters are up for grabs in a five-person race.
The poll sampled 1,000 registered voters from November 10-13, and the credibility interval is plus or minus three percent.
Emerson College also took the temperature of the Republican presidential primary in Ohio following last week’s dueling Republican presidential debate and Trump rally.

Doesn’t surprise me, but we still have a bunch of counties with Dominion voting systems, including my county - Greene. I don’t trust those machines.
They cannot allow Trump to return to the Oval Office, because if he does they are deservedly going to prison, and they know it.
Cankles even said so.
Who would follow Trump's orders?
Trump has had the lead in rust belt pulling for more than 4 months.
Are you suggesting you will participate in an insurrection against him?
How the hell did you come to that conclusion? Get a grip. I’m talking about the DOJ, FBI, CIA, IRS, and just about every Federal official you can think of.
Go back to DU where you belong.
Ohio voters need to get rid of that Sh*tty Sherrod Brown while they’re voting in droves for Trump.
Can’t go back to where I’ve never been. How about telling me where I am wrong (re: posts #4 and #7) before falling back to juvenile tactics.
You’re a loser who gives up before the fight even starts.
Go find a flock of fellow losers.
A Trump victory looks like this.
Next morning his staff will announce a transition team made up of superb people with experience. No names mentioned.
Next morning an announcement that in keeping with usual presidential procedure, all DOJ US Attorneys will be required to submit a letter of resignation. (Trump did not do this for his first term, a mistake)
Next morning an announcement of discussions with the Vice President Elect about procedures surrounding the inaugural and how both will carefully ensure they are not in the same place at the same time.
The staff will then leak plans for the Inaugural ball.
In general, everything will be low key about plans. Until he takes office, no one will know anything of policy. He may have a getting acquainted meeting with leaders in Congress. All very low key and non threatening.
It is only as January 20th approaches will it become clear he has not named any cabinet nominees. He may select some as interim appointments as of Jan 20th, not requiring Senate confirmation.
Staffing will take place with no input from the party.
The point being, he has to get to swearing in without being shot. Also, if he is in jail, this calm and unthreatening appearance will get a declared pardon from Biden because of the optics of a President serving his term in jail.
After he is sworn in, he will slowly begin doing damage to those who deserve it. He has 4 years. You don’t need red meat on day 1.
That’s what I thought. Can’t answer the question.
You seem to be putting a lot more effort into stalking and harassing me than you are willing to put into a Trump Presidency.
Hurry! Find something else to give up on before it even starts.
And don’t forget to keep stalking me. It seems to be the only thing you are good at.
There are millions of people like me who voted for Trump in the past, but are done now. We think the jab was a terrible thing. We think Trump calling fellow Republicans stupid names is disrespectful and shows lack of morals. We think it was Trump, who surrounded himself with the deep state, not DeSantis. We think Trump is too old now. That isn’t unreasonable.
If you think one single DeSantis supporter has anything to do with DU, it shows how out of touch you all are. Either Way, Biden won’t be running. It will be Newsom.
One word: November 6th 2024. You know when newly found ballots suddenly are presented.
Some people on here have a reading comprehension problem. What you said went right over their head. You are only stating the obvious. Even if Trump ie re-elected the deep state is still in place. Look at what happened in his first term. Even his own state department didn’t have his back and betrayed him during the first impeachment. Look at what the DOJ and FBI are doing now. Trying to get rid of anyone that has patriotic leanings.
That pretty much nails it. Thank you.
A closet Bushie. Explains everything.
Minor issue, the left has been printing ballots since the end of the 2020 election.
