House lawmakers on Tuesday attended a screening on Capitol Hill of the video assembled by the Israeli government which shows footage of Hamas’ brutal attack on Israel on October 7.
Some of the footage was taken from the terrorists’ body cameras.
The screening was attended by lawmakers from both parties, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) ...
According to Jewish Insider, lawmakers left the screening largely in grave silence, visibly shaken, several of them openly crying and comforting one another. One lawmaker, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA), left in tears less than five minutes after entering.
“We had a large group of Republican and Democrat House members in the auditorium this morning, and you could have heard a pin drop — except for the sighs and the cries in the room because the video would make anyone with a soul cry,” Johnson said, according to The Hill.
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) told Fox News Digital he felt sickened after viewing the footage.
"I've seen decapitation and I've seen just beating, and beating on both dead and alive bodies," Issa said. "And quite frankly, I'm just sick to my stomach."
"I mean, the details. And you can hear it, but when you see it, it's like visiting Auschwitz or Birkenau, except it's still going on visually," he added.
“Seeing the video footage of people celebrating the killing of Jews shows what we’re up against. And the fact that anybody would encourage or condone what Hamas did that day. It’s outrageous. It’s unbelievable seeing footage like that in the year 2023, in places we’ve all been,” she said.

No, it’s more like visiting any battle a thousand years ago. Part of a soldier’s pay was he got to rape and pillage. If your city surrendered to the Mongols without a fight the rapping and pillaging was limited to just three days and nights. This is why slanted eyes are so common in Russia today. However, if your city fought and lost, then all the inhabitants were raped until they died, or they were slaughtered outright. (Some were taken as slaves. Probably the ones old enough to work, but not so young they required care.) The problem with allowing Muslims into civilized countries is they are not civilized. When you talk to a “Palestinian” pay attention to what he says. I had an angry employee scream at me that I wouldn’t like it when “they” took over. I’d owe him taxes and be his slave. Yep, he really said that. At another time I asked why he planned on having sixteen children. His father had sixteen children and he said, “we need soldiers for the jihad.”
The video should be made public.
Should be shown uncut and unedited on broadcast television and all major cable news shows.
People need to see the horror totally unfiltered. Make supporters of Hamas accountable.
And yet we let more and more Muslims into this country and allow them to protest Israel while backstopping evil.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hangs out with the Muslim members of “The Squad”. But she is Catholic, and she seems to be serious about her faith.
Maybe, just maybe, these horrible Hamas atrocities will wake her up.
Doctors & psychologists in Israel have been adamant that watching the video is unwise for the general public.

It was a big defense company. I was just an engineer, and he was my tech. Also, he was one of the protected ones...those who can’t be fired because they meet some quota. Even though people had heard him say it, that meant nothing. He was the perfect example of what people would call a “moderate Muslim.” He was a happy looking man who smiled a lot. But pay attention to what offhand comments he’d say, and your butt would pucker.
She should convert to Islam.

The little I saw was more than enough.
Back when Dan Berg was held captive and beheaded, I forced myself to watch the video.
Didn’t want to watch it, and haven’t watched anything like that since, but I felt it was important enough to me that if I supported actions against Middle Eastern countries who want us dead, I had to watch it.
I needed to see with my own eyes the evil that men do, so that I could stand fast as a citizen in supporting military action against those who do those things.

No. Many people are no psychologically ready to watch people raped, murdered and mutilated. Especially children. That is not woke. There is no medal for watching such acts and having them indelibly etched on your soul. The people whom you think need to watch to become convinced would just reject the video as doctored/faked.
