Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, calling on nations around the world to decide where they stand, emphasizing that if "Hamas and Iran's axis of evil" prevail, they will target others next.
"It is a time for all of us to decide if we are willing to fight for a future of hope and promise or surrender to tyranny and terror," he wrote.
Following Hamas's initial terrorist attacks on Oct. 7 and subsequent taking of Israeli civilians and other foreign nationals as hostages, President Joe Biden has reiterated the United States's steadfast support of the Jewish state and its right to defend itself. However, Biden faces calls from a growing faction on the Left to call for a ceasefire between Israel and the terrorist organization.
This is advice Biden hasn't heeded and is unlikely to change his mind on. Nonetheless, Netanyahu made it clear that "just as the U.S. wouldn’t have agreed to a ceasefire after the bombing of Pearl Harbor or after the terrorist attack on 9/11, Israel will not agree to a cessation of hostilities with Hamas after the horrific attacks of Oct. 7."
White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan wouldn't say on Sunday whether Israel was conducting its offensive in the best possible way in terms of minimizing civilian casualties in Gaza. He, instead, reiterated that the U.S. continues to urge Israel to do everything it can to protect civilians.
Victory over Iran's "axis of terror" means making a "moral distinction between the deliberate murder of the innocent and the unintentional casualties that are the inevitable result of even the most just war," according to Netanyahu.

Careful there, Bibi, you’re starting to sound like Zelinskyyyyy.
He’s right.
It’s not time for all of us. Your country can deal with Hamas.
Regardless of what happens over there, we are a target.
And you can take that to the bank.
He’s right!
Now, stop taking the China virus jabs!!
If Hamas is the existential threat this guy makes them out to be, then he ought to resign for leaving his country defenseless against them when they used hang gliders and pickup trucks to slaughter 1,400+ of his own citizens.
Israel funded Hamas to counter the PLO.
The entire Middle East is a pox on humanity.
We should never have anything to do with it.
So Bush should have resigned for 9-11? Or all police should resign for the local shooting or murder? No, what we need is to prosecute all crimes, and when it's terrorism or war we wipe them of the face of the earth.
Hardly...We’re just a deep well for “Z”.
The entire world is already the target of Islam. And they are doing a knock out job obtaining their goals.
“So Bush should have resigned for 9-11? “
Careful. Once you start considering actual personal penalties for Government failures, there is no telling where that process will end up.
Accountability for Regime failure and incompetence is an attack on “Our Democracy” !
Europe will be the next slaughterhouse
Eliminate Hamas and free the hostages. That is the only acceptable end which will guarantee Israel safety.
The Marxist-Palestinian/Islamists alliance is particularly scary. What they have in common is they both hate freedom. And you. They want you dead in the most degrading and humiliating way.
The US isn’t the next target, the other Arab states are.
The goal is to reestablish the Caliphate, and then to destroy the West.
Yes, this.
If I correctly recall, there were diplomatic bombing pauses during Operation Rolling Thunder during the Vietnam war, and the enemy made tactical use of them.
It would be a beautiful irony if Israel dropped Zyklon B down the tunnels.
Is it possible that US intelligence knew what was about happen and did not share that intelligence with Israel?
