Just what American people are these that would be horrified? We have US citizens that are homeless sleeping on park benches while ILLEGAL ALIENS are put up in hotels. THAT is horrifying especially when you consider some of these homeless are vets.

I’m firmly of the belief that our immigration laws are draconian. It should be far easier to legally immigrate to this country.
And that no provision whatsoever should be made for those who entered illegally.
There are people who’ve spent years on waiting lists. Those who have entered illegally should in no way gain any sort of precedence over those who’ve abided by the law.
If they’ve committed no crime other than illegal entry, we might perhaps send them home and put them at the end of the line, but that’s the most accomodation I can see making for them.
Not only are the illegal aliens living in despair and squalor on the streets, the citizens of the cities are being dragged down with them.
Democrats who were pushing for amnesty used to cry about the illegal aliens "living in the shadows," meaning they weren't seen. Now, the Democrats have let so many of them into the country that they can't hide them anymore. They are flooding our cities, swamping the social infrastructures, crushing the schools and hospitals, and displacing Americans who are also in need of help.
