Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that her organization would support former President Donald Trump as the GOP presidential nominee even if he is a “convinced criminal.”
McDaniel said, “We’re in a primary right now, and the RNC is doing our best to make sure we’re getting our candidates visibility as we’re taking on Biden. This is what I hear every day, Dana. People can’t afford groceries can’t afford to fill up their car with gas, they think the country is on the wrong track. They want to see our party fight for them, and they want to see us win in November.”
Anchor Dana Bash asked, “If those are the issues, if you end up having Donald Trump as your nominee and if he is convicted of a crime, do you believe that he would be the appropriate nominee for the Republican Party?”
McDaniel said, “Whoever the voters choose as the appropriate nominee.”
Bash said, “Even if he’s a convicted criminal.”
McDaniel said, “I know this is newsworthy, but as party chair, I’ll support who the voters choose and yes, if they choose Donald Trump. The voters look at this and think this is a two-tiered system of justice. They don’t believe a lot of the things coming out of this.”

Oh, please. A railroaded citizen given multiple Stalinist show trials with fabricated evidence and years of government abuse is NOT a “convicted criminal.”
Notice how the romney says the voters this and the voters that. She should have said the RNC knows Trump is being persecuted and we will support him. The problem is that the RNC wants him convicted of the false charges and won’t take a stand for him. However, the RNC knows they will go the way of the Whigs if they try to pull a fast one and nominate someone the voters don’t vote for. Duplicitous bastards are what they and the romney are.

Ronna Romney McDaniel has to go!
No get out the vote efforts. No ballot security and election integrity plans. McDaniel spends lavishly on herself and holds parties for other RNC leaders while the actual candidates are left swinging in the wind.
McDaniel did nothing in the aftermath of the 2020 election to address rampant fraud.
She says the voters because it is a primary and it hasn’t been wrapped up yet and she is supposed to be neutral.
The RNC becomes less relevant each and every day that passes, Ronna knows this - when Trump gets elected to the presidency he will have done so without attending a debate and raising the funds to run own his own. IOW, we don’t need no steekin’ debate or an RNC, ouch.
It will be even better if he is convicted by a deep blue judge/jury, he gets elected then pardons himself as a “convicted criminal.”
