The Israeli government is demanding answers from western media outlets including CNN, Reuters and The Associated Press over troubling images of freelance photographers they each hired which suggest they may have been embedded with Hamas on October 7th.
The issue - first highlighted by Honest Reporting - concerns four freelance photographers from Gaza whose works have been published by the media outlets.
Among them is Hassan Eslaiah, a photographer who has now been seen in an image with Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.
All three outlets deny having any prior knowledge of the Hamas attack and insist they have cut ties with the reporters.
But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other cabinet ministers are demanding more information.

Israel should being charges against all the heads of these “news” companies. Or treat them like the Olympics terrorists after Munich.
If they really want the answers, they need to immediately ARREST and Detain in Solitary Confinement every last employee of these three Terrorist Organizations Propaganda outfits that are in Israel or Gaza.

The simple answer is for Israel to revoke these news organizations visas.
Yep. They should be taken out regardless. They were party to the attacks and should be targets of the IDF. Perhaps some waterboarding for info.

They did the same in Iraq with Sunni videographers. That’s why so many videos of attacks are from the terrorists’ point-of-view (POV).
Interestingly, they didn’t hire Shia videographers. Think about that.
So there was a whole war down there, with 3rd Armored Division, 101st AB, etc. vs. the (Iranian) Mahdi for which there was paltry coverage. What coverage exists is all from US/Coalition POV. 3rd AD figured this out quick and adjusted their ROE to full effect. It was brutal for the Mahdi. They did the Iranian human wave attacks on Camp Baker in Najaf. M1s (w/Apache overwatch) were positioned on high points and just hosed them down w/.50s as they came into the concertina wire. I visited a week later to do some work and the ground was stained black and there was that sweet, sickly smell of rotting blood and gore. There were still scarps of clothing in the wire.
....And nobody knows.
I’m not sure these organizations knew beforehand. From what I know from my time in Iraq the videographers were basically insurgents videoing their attacks for multiple purposes -mostly profit. They’d sell it to Western news outlets to make some money. The real money was from Qatari and Iranian backers who paid them for successful attacks on a body count basis. The video was essential for them to get paid.

Israel had a big hand in Hamas creation, with the cover story of offsetting Arafat and the rise of the PLO in the 1980’s.
