World War III is everywhere and nowhere. Politicians and pundits predict it and warn about it as they’ve been doing for 70 years. And for all of that time we’ve been fighting World War III.
Is WWIII in Iran or Ukraine? Yes in its own way. Is it in the confrontations in the South China Sea, the Hamas attack on Israel or in the riots in the streets of our own cities? Also all yes. Not to mention cartels smuggling drugs and foreign influence operations being run in D.C.
*snip*
“I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones,” Einstein was quoted as saying. But Albert was as good at physics as he was bad at politics and he had it the wrong way around. It’s WWIII that‘s fought with stones.
The atomic bomb, but not just it, had ended world wars as we knew them. Even more decisively than Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the United States had conclusively demonstrated that nations with superior production capacities combined with manpower and technological advancement will win any world war. For the Soviet Union, a world war against the country whose factories had supplied it with everything it needed to beat the Nazi war machine was unthinkable.
Instead the Soviet Union launched its own third world war fought not with atom bombs, but in some cases with stones and sticks, but mostly a political war that depended on spreading Communism, building third world alliances, and subverting America from within. It won that war even as its politics and economics imploded, finally leading to the fall of the Soviet Union.

Blame the Neocons.
Psychological Vindication of their idiotic comment communistic / anti- American world view. It’s usually a psychological problem, the number who are actually paid enemy agents are, I believe, not as great as it may appear.
<< The Soviet Union launched its own third world war ….subverting America from within. >>
And successful it was and still is. Yuri Bezmenov explains: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IQPsKvG6WMI&t=5s&pp=ygUceXVyaSBiZXptZW5vdiAxOTgzIGludGVydmlldw%3D%3D
The author doesn’t even know who is fighting this “war.” He makes the claim that “Islamists” have replaced the Soviet Union without a shred of evidence.
Coincidence I just saw a post on Twitter.
When is the last time you saw an Army military recruiting commercial with not just little diversity but NO diversity at all.
No trans
No gay
No blacks
No women
Not even sure if their were any Latinos or Asians .
Something is up for sure.

It depends on the combatants. I will not waste a second of time or effort defending a communist, whether it be a person, city or nation.
I forget how long I’ve had this tagline.
Dominion voting machines and mail-in ballots!
Marking.
Thanks - will read.
“ Why try to tangle with an Abrams tank or an A-10 when you can bribe our politicians, corrupt our universities and fund terrorist groups to attack us around the world. That’s the real WWIII.”
Exactly
They’re trying to finish off the White Christian Base of this country by sending all the men of breeding age to die for either the Ukraine or Israel.
The WWIII that so many imagined never came because we were the victims of our own success. With or without nuclear weapons, no one wanted to fight an unrestricted global war against us so they found ways to undermine us, to tie us down and small wars to drag us into. They focused on undermining our morale, fracturing our society, turning our youth against us, corrupting our morals, buying out our economy and invading us through immigration.

Here’s the line that gets me. Who are the ‘they’ in this part of Greenfield’s story?
It sounds like he’s saying foreigners are undermining us, getting us into small wars, undermining morale, corrupting the youth, corrupting morals, fracturing society, etc.
I disagree, everything he mentions has Americans and domestic organizations that are supporting and funding these positions.
For example just look at the wars we get into or the reaction of many people during covid hysteria.
1) First we get bombed with information-propaganda by media outlets and the experts.
2) Then our leaders decide they have to “do something” about it, which usually means throwing money, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights down the toilet.
3) Next comes infighting about where information was obtained and the “my information is valid” and your information is nonsense game gets played.
4) Then false slogans start to take hold like “we’re all in this together” or didn’t we learn anything at Munich in the 1930’s.
5) Eventually after enough time has passed, the crisis recedes down the memory hole, until the next big event comes along. Rinse & Repeat.
Events do not disprove you.
They get to play God with the lives of young people and that is a position they wouldn't give up for anything on earth!
These same old stoners are ON campuses because there is no where else they would fit in ... hearing them and looking at them, it's clear they could function NOWHERE else but on a college campus. If they take one step off their campus, they are like fish out of water.
The ones I knew and worked with are social misfits of the truest description. We had one faculty member who I KNOW did not bathe and looked like a homeless guy! He was not unique but very typical of the whole faculty, with very few exceptions.
A fascinating Angst, you are confessing.
Viet Nam, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Sudan, Yemen, Afghanistan, and trillions burned away financed in part by increasing debt.
But additionally, you confess that we might "lose this war," when in fact we were told only yesterday via the Hudson Institute that we were not involved in a "proxy war." Moreover, we are officially noncombatants.
The Fourteen Facts about US Aid to Ukraine Posted on 11/7/2023, 4:37:49 PM by marcusmaximus. As nonbelligerents and not officially in a proxy war, there is OFFICIALLY no war to be lost.
So are we at war? With some "who hope we DO lose this war" or are we NOT in a war?
Having it both ways is such a nuance too far, it seems.
