In Zaluzhny’s World War I stalemate analogy Ukraine would play Germany’s old role, losing for lack of supplies
Volodymir Zelensky, Ukraine’s president, is at war – with his generals. He has admonished the head of the Ukrainian armed services, Valery Zaluzhny, who last week told The Economist that “just like in the First World War, we have reached the level of technology that puts us into a stalemate. There will most likely be no deep and beautiful breakthrough.”
Even The New York Times, a US administration mouthpiece on Ukraine, has written about the clash between Zelensky and his generals.
Zelensky has insisted that Ukraine will win the war against Russia and drive the Russians out of the country. Kiev’s massive offensive, mostly concentrated in the Zaphorize area, failed, with heavy losses on the Ukrainian side. The renewed battle for Bakhmut, launched by Zelensky over the objections of his generals, also has not succeeded and has cost many lives and much equipment.
Meanwhile, Zelensky insisted on defending Avdiivka, a small city dominated by a huge coke plant. Coke is used for blast furnaces in steelmaking. The Ukrainians are steadily losing ground in and around the city. The Ukrainians had to transfer one of their best brigades, the 54th Mechanized, to Kupyansk, replacing it with a far less capable and trained territorial brigade tasked with holding Avdiivka.
...
Zaluzhny’s image of World War I, and his focus on how it was a stalemate in which both sides dug deep trenches and saturated each other with artillery, is half an image of what happened in that war. The other half of the story is that Germany lost the war because it could not sustain the fighting, lacking enough military supplies and even food for its troops. Once the US joined the Allied forces, the balance was tipped.
No he’s not.
Zeeper clowns hardest hit.
Zelensky probably thought the coke plant was where his supply of nose candy is manufactured instead of the other kind of coke.
grunt grunt “we must save Avdiivka important plant there now go die for me” grunt grunt.
Where’s Putin?
Where’s Putin?
Next to Waldo?
I think we are seeing that Zelenskyy is a madman who has again canceled elections and is, himself, totally corrupt. But yeah, let’s hand him billions more along with more cluster bombs. Utter madness.
Zelemsky has been bambuzeled by Biden from th beginning.
Who’s to say?
A top aide to Ukraine’s armed forces commander-in-chief, Gen. Valery Zaluzhny, has died Monday after what was initially reported as an “unknown explosive device” went off inside a birthday present he was handed.
He’s been identified as Major Hennadii Chastiakov, and details have since emerged saying he was given a gift box full of grenades. An urgent Telegram post from Ukraine’s minister of internal affairs Ihor Klymenko might be among the strangest war time announcements out of Kiev yet.
The post was translated by the Washington Post as follows:
Gen. Valery Zaluzhny said that his assistant, Maj. Hennadii Chastiakov, was killed under “tragic circumstances” while celebrating his birthday with relatives when “an unknown explosive device went off in one of the gifts.” His 13-year-old son was also seriously injured, the National Police of Ukraine said
LOL. Could be one of Hunter’s...uh....business ventures.
“No, you tell him about Schteiner.”
Give himd a helmet and rifle, a canteen and the crawfish he serves the troops, shove him into the frontlines as a newbie private. Rinse and repeat with his entire administration.
“ Where’s Putin?”
Doesn’t matter.
before i found my glasses, i could have sworn z was at war with his genitals.
Where’s Putin?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Indeed that is a question that every country in the world is asking right now. WHERE is Putin?
About two weeks ago inside news from Russia said he had a heart attack and was found convulsing on the floor.
Since then, zero news from Putin. No audio, no video. Nothing.
So there are three possibilities:
1. Putin is dead.
2. Putin is recovering in a hospital.
3. Putin has bunkered down under ground somewhere, afraid of being assassinated by his own team.
Because Russia is STILL slowly but surely losing ground in Ukraine. They have butchered themselves to pieces trying to take Adiivka in Ukraine : in a matter of 2 weeks a thousand Russian soldiers dead (in Adiivka alone), hundreds of russian tanks and vehicles destroyed, the loss of control of the black sea, losing ships every week...
Thus, some Kremlinists probably want Putin replaced by someone more competent.
Remember.. the MI6 had the opportunity to assassinate Hitler many times during WW2. But decided not to.
Because is was far better to have an incompetent Hitler than a capable military guy...
Putin’s endless miscalculations is becoming too costly to Russia.
Hope Putin gets the job done before we further impoverish ourselves supporting the Biden regime’s agenda in Ukraine.
