Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie lashed out at a crowd for booing at Florida’s GOP Freedom Summit, claiming their “anger against the truth is reprehensible.”

After beginning his speech, the Republican presidential hopeful tried to speak, but was quickly met by jeers and boos from the crowd, demanding he get off the stage.

Since running for office, Christie has been a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump unlike a majority of the Republican presidential field. As a result, MAGA supporters often berate Christie during public events and GOP conferences.

Instead of allowing the crowd to continue to berate him, he quickly accused them of fearing the truth.

Let me make my awful arguments and then you can just reject them out of hand. But the problem is the problem is the problem is you fear the truth."
