Former Vice President Michael Pence announced Saturday he is suspending his 2024 presidential campaign.

The Republican presidential candidate made the announcement while at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s leadership conference.

“I came here to say it’s become clear to me: This is not my time,” Pence said.

I don’t know about a strategy. Pence couldn’t draw a dozen supporters to an event. Unlikely he qualified for the third debate. Writing was on the wall.
