New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) reacted to the Wednesday night firearm-based attacks in Maine by calling for gun control.
Grisham has been in the news recently for issuing an order banning concealed carry, even by licensed concealed carry permit holders, in larger New Mexico cities like Albuquerque. Her order banned the open carry of firearms too.
She issued her order on September 8, 2023, and a U.S. District Judge blocked it on September 13, 2023. She then reworked the order, limiting the ban on concealed carry to parks and playgrounds and her order was allowed to stand.

Common thread in most if not all of these incidents is that the person was mentally ill, the government and law enforcement was aware of the person, nothing was done. We need to find a balance and have the required infrastructure to help the mentally ill get treatment and on a path to a normal life. The upfront costs would be covered by aiding society rather than kicking these folks into the streets for a life of crime and alcohol and drug abuse.

Defunding and firing police officers also helped the RATS get their “mass shooting” body count to skyrocket too. It’s funny how many of these “mass active shooters” claim that they “hear voices” in their heads. Instead of taking away their guns, it seems like tin hats and telling them to get a better set of “buds” and turn it up to 11 would do a better job solving the DemocRATs’ “mass shooting” program.

I read that they are going to start flying them across the Rio Grande in floatplanes. They will still have to land on the Rio Grande so they can dip their toes in the water and be christened as an Official U.S. Citizen of the United States of America by their illegal alien, illegal alien “advocates.” They all will get a nifty little certificate describing the occasion and a T-shirt with the flag of the country they came from with the date of their flight up to the border paid for by the U.S. taxpayers.

Terrible thing is it would have been a lot harder to get a weapon out of the armory than just buy it on the street. And whose in charge of seeing that doesn’t happen? That’s like saying if no one has weapons then fire all the ATF...don’t need them. Less government to pay for. And if no one is going to consider the safety of the people, then replace them with auditors for the state budget. Governors aren’t needed as law enforcement could be cut to traffic cops and mild crimes. No guns, no crime and even the local state militias can be disbanded and there is no need for a national guard in the state. God I feel safer already. And as other things get to be a danger remove them so as to not let the children have it. The only advancement past the cave days will be they can sit at home and have their food delivered by pack mule. Cars will have to go as they can be used as a weapon. Nirvana, isn’t it? Nirvana has a strange liking to stupidity.
