Everyone else, Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington all were patriots. That's where I draw the line. Andrew Jackson was a flawed man. But he loved this country so that's why I support him.
Robert E. Lee was a traitor so I can't support him for that.
If I’m ever near Charlottesville again, I will ask to see the Robert E. Lee statue, and when they say they melted it down, I’ll say, “I guess I’ll take my tourist dollars somewhere else then.”
American Cultural Revolution. It’s been on for a while n
They do not even believe in the USA and they have taken over.
Election fraud coup, illegitimate regime that acts with stealth and subterfuge.
Ironically, Lee and his fan Woodrow Wilson are more like them but they were a long time ago.
They want to get rid of the military from the Civil War, but what about the political?
Isn’t it time this country did away with the Democrat party?
How does that change ONE SINGLE PERSON’S LIFE?
Destroying works of art is good now. Didn’t you hear?
Here’s an idea: A group of peaceful, happy people:
Cannon Hinnant
Cash Gernon
Landen Hoffman
Tessa Majors
Channon Christian
Christopher Newsom

Gee. I wonder...
Fahrenheit 2250.
Like the swallows of Capistrano?
Chairman Mao’s Cultural Revolution Comes To America
Funny how you never have the plan to stop it from happening.
The left celebrates to murder of American history.
Only problem is, we can reforge a bronze statue, you flaming idiots, and place it for display on private land.
Doh!
Turned into a statue of George Floyd or Lenin.
There was no legal authority at the time that equated the secession of a state or states with treason. In fact, part of New England had attempted to secede some time before, without penalty of any kind.
While we think of the "United States" as a single entity, at the time it was simply a union of independent sovereign states. The first loyalty was to ones state. Some of that still survives in current law. Note that nobody, including Jeff Davis, was ever prosecuted for treason. Davis was held for awhile but never prosecuted, let alone convicted.
Consider that people who squawk about "treason!" at every opportunity are trampling all over a carefully negotiated peace intended to put the country back together after the war. In exchange for an oath abjuring secession, combatants were considered veterans in good standing and welcomed back into the political life of the nation. They got pensions too.
If the combatants could shake hands like gentlemen at Gettysburg, we should at least attempt to emulate them. The other way is wrong, and destructive of peace and unity.
Ignorant and disgusting people-no better than the Taliban terrorists. I think some cities should buy all the George Floyd statues, and the rights to all the murals of him on walls and streets-display the statues in a gallery with other historically famous criminals, declare the murals graffiti-defacing public property and paint over every one...
Come Missah Taleebahn, knock down all de statue.
Nanzi Pelosi gathered portraits of slave owners from the rotunda. All were Democrats. Will they be destroyed to change history, as Orwell alldes?
“Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.”
The demonrat party has no place on American soil at all!
