In a move condemned by Israel as an “obscene step” that “gives support to terrorism”, Russian officials met with the terror group who praised them for taking an “active role” in the war.
Hamas praised Putin personally for his “stance” on the conflict and “acknowledged the active role of Russian diplomacy” in talks over “the recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and strategies to halt the Israeli crimes”.

What about China? They rely upon Iran for a significant amount of their oil imports. It’s suspected that all the naval ships they sent to the region are there to provide anti-missile ability to protect Iran’s oil infrastructure. If this war goes regional it’s likely to become WW3.

Disappointing. I actually believed Putin was smarter than to do such a thing because it certainly diminishes his credibility with people who are not viscerally anti-Russian.

I didnt say we should. I only pointed out that by shoveling cash at Ukraine (even though I know it is a laundromat for our politians money) we put ourselves in this position where Russia welcomes Hamas. The Russians have no love for Islamic radicals but the enemy of their enemy is their friend.
