Fine began his op-ed, shared on social media as well as in the Washington Times, by telling readers that he was jumped by a Nazi two weeks ago in the Sunshine State, explaining he was a “target” as “the only Republican Jew elected to the Florida Legislature.”
“And you will find few people in the Legislature who have championed Mr. DeSantis more,” he wrote.
Fine noted his endorsement for DeSantis prior to his being the GOP nominee for governor and his own position as the governor’s Jewish Outreach Chair. Fine also identified himself as the author of the bills on Jewish issues that DeSantis has spoken about in the past. However, he contends that DeSantis’s actions have not matched his words.
“I love his words. His actions have broken my heart,” he wrote, providing a few examples, including a lack of progress on the state’s Holocaust memorial, as well as DeSantis not being forceful enough in condemning acts of antisemitism.
Eighteen months ago, my Nazi “friends” showed up in Florida. They assaulted a Rabbi. They beat up a Jew who yelled back at one of their protests. They commandeered highway overpasses to illegally hang banners saying “Gas the Jews.” They have tormented Jews at their homes with filth. Until a few weeks ago, Governor DeSantis said almost nothing. And worse, he did almost nothing.

What I find amazing is the overwhelming support Jews give to Democrats, Democrats who hate Jews. Just odd.
Can you imagine where America would be without Obama, Biden, Hillary, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, the Weaponized FBI/CIA and DOJ? We would be safer and richer as would the world.

yea, I guess it's not the same as a "home country" where a generational American Irishman or Italian American still has some connection to that country, and typically not hatred.

It is carry over from time gone by when Jews were discriminated in corporations. In my company, the plant manager was Jewish. He was much older than me, and he told me story about not finding any jobs until he changed his name from obviously Jewish name to a Christian name.
When people are discriminated, they never forget it.
Er. I didn’t know that a Governor is supposed to intervene in local law enforcement. That’d be awesome if Governors got involved in every assault that occurs in the State. /S
I’m sure he has his reasons for switching from DeSantis to Trump, perhaps among them joining a winning team. But none of his complaints about DeSantis strike me as legitimate. Or many of them, local law enforcement in specific cases, expelling students from colleges, properly in the pervue of a Governor.

DeSantis has done lots to combat anti-Semitism. If the Jews want America to subserviently show fealty to the Jews, they just need to go back their country because it isn’t going to happen.

Meanwhile their Israeli cousins are battling to save all of precious western civilization.
US Jews do not deserve any sympathy or respect from Americans with the exception of those that served our military honorably.
For the rest it looks like a difficult road ahead. So too bad.
