Very likely, especially if it is Level 1 Trauma Center. The hospital in Lewiston is Level 2 Trauma Center, and beyond capacity with the number of reported injuries.
Yes, Maine Med is closing it’s campus to all but employees and patients. They’ve cleared the decks for incoming.

Technically, you're right. As well, anyone who has been adjudicated mentally ill cans't have gun either. The problem is you have to declare this on a Form 4473, which is basically an honor system. The background check should report these disqualification, but the information often never gets enter into the NICS system.
