Lots of hits including Boston news 10 minutes ago, suggesting he is a 41 years old former military officer, three kids, twice divorced, has a restraining order from last relationship, and supported Barack Obama. Whether any of that is true, I couldn’t know and some of the sources are unfamiliar or dubious. Could be sensationalism or political agendas at play with those reports.

Our mental health system is crap

I believe that the first priority of our mental health facilities is to free up beds. It is a higher priority than providing quality care imo. They want you out as soon as they absolutely can. And if the law mandates a 72 hour hold, they hold you 72 hours and 3 seconds.

Lewiston PD appears to be fully encrypted. From my last visit, State PD has a clear primary dispatch channel and a fully encrypted channel for each barracks.

IMHO, too much “mental health” resource are give to college students, etc. who are stressed over living in a dorm, finals, etc. and see a psychologist and not enough dealing with people like this.

This guy is Army Reserve sharpshooter who was in a mental facility for TWO LOUSY WEEKS some time ago for heaven knows what reason.
