President Joe Biden Wednesday stressed the United States believes the conflict between Israel and Hamas must end with a vision of a “two-state solution.”
“There’s no going back to the status quo as it stood on Oct. 6, that means Hamas can no longer terrorize Israel and use Palestinians as human shields” Biden said. “It also means, when this crisis is over there has to be a vision of what comes next, and, in our view, it has to be a two-state solution.”
Achieving this, Biden said, means “a concentrated effort for all the parties — Israelis, Palestinians, regional partners, global leaders — to put us on a path toward peace.”

Gaza was its own state until Hamas launched a genocidal attack on Israelis. They’ve been selling this snake oil for years.
Oh, sure it’s not true.
Who still clings to this “vision” since the 1937 and 1947 Partition Plan which of course, the Arabs rejected.
Why on Earth do they think the Paleostinians are capable of running their own affairs. They really do not want a state, they want to eliminate Israel as was proven on October 7th yet again.
How can such smart people be so dense all the time by repeating the same action again and again with the same negative results?

First of all there are no Palestinians. There are the West Bank PA and the Gazan Hamas. They are separate and distinct political entities. There is no unity.
Thus, there is no Palestine.
In reality it seems there are three states, Israel, West Bank and Gaza.
Neither Gaza nor West Bank has the ability to exist absent Israel. There is no Palestinian GDP capable of supporting stand alone nations.
Presently, Hamas is being eradicated to the bone. Gaza supports Hamas and must be politically restructured with no Hamas cancer draining political and economic resources.

I would think Hamas would seize the West Bank by now.
So then we'd have a "Jewish state" AND a "Christian state" living "side by side" in the middle east.

Less than 1% of the Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip are Christians (I believe it was 0.7% at last count). And OF THOSE "Christians", I would bet that less than 1% of THEM disagree with their "fellow Palestinians" that Israel are "Zionist occupiers" that need to be wiped off the map. Most of the Palestinian "Christians" are Palestinian First (and foremost), Christian second. For example, Robert F. Kennedy's assassin was a Palestinian "Christian" on paper.
Christians are ROUTINELY being slaughtered and wiped out in their native lands by Islamofacist regimes throughout the Middle East (Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc.), and the media doesn't lift a finger to report on ANY of it. But whenever Israel launches some strikes on Gaza, they IMMEDIATELY remind us about the minuscule amount of so called "Palestinian Christians" that suffer from it.
It's a red herring.
