Since the 1970s, when I was a graduate student at the Middle East Institute of Columbia's School of International Affairs, I knew what the Middle East conflict was about: Muslim rejection of a Jewish state in the middle of the Muslim world. To the best of my recollection, my professors -- most of them fluent in Arabic and all experts on the Middle East -- had it wrong. Being secular themselves and usually having a sympathetic view of the Arab world, they believed and taught that the issue was about land.
They were wrong. It was always about Muslim rejection of a Jewish state in their midst and a religious desire to destroy it.

But the real problem is the one side who wants the other side dead is not the side we think it is.
The side that wants the other side dead is the cabal. They want all of us dead.
The cabal creates terrorist groups—that is, they round up a group of people, fund them and instruct them to commit terrorism.
Then they instruct the media to create a fake narrative.
I think it was clear from 1948 that the Arab Muslims wanted Israel dead.
Much earlier than that.
The West is so willfully ignorant of the truth about Islam.
The satanic rag they consider “sacred scripture” ORDERS them to steal, kill, and destroy. And lie.
I don’t or have every held the “Palestinian people” innocent of what Hamas has done. They don’t deserve a “homeland” because look what they did with what little autonomy they had: voted Hamas as their government and did everything to help them in their quest to murder their neighbors.
Evidently, the Middle East has a lot of ancient cultural issues that are part of this mix in addition to the Muslim vs. Jew factor. This video covers some of the reasons that surrounding countries want nothing to do with "Palestinians".

The Muslim religion is all about submission to Muslims. As long as you're viewed as inferior and submit to their control, they'll let you live. They hate any non-Muslims living in any non-Muslim controlled states. Submit or die. That is their motto in their quest for world domination. If Israel gave control to Muslim rule, they would stop the wars there. But Jews would lose any resemblance of independent living.
I totally agree with Dennis’ analysis of the situation. Islam has always been intolerant of other religions, and most people in the West have no idea how virulently Muslims despise jews.
However, Dennis veers into a bit of understandable hyperbole in the article, when he says every generation wants to exterminate the Jews and it’s because they are in fact God’s chosen people.
Indeed there has always been anti senitism but this has not always led to a desire to kill all Jews.
Nor do I believe the hatred of Jews is exactly because others believe them to be God’s chosen people.
But his views on this are understandable.

Which is exactly how liberals view us. They want us dead.
They call it compassion.
I am not surprised to hear that the incident between Israel and Hamas may have been an intentionally manufactured event as I wouldn’t pass it by any government to pull something like this off to achieve their desired goal, and I think Israel isn’t this ethical to prevent it from doing just that. Not to mention that Israel has one of the worlds best intelligence agencies with embedded spies everywhere, making it nearly impossible they did not know what was coming so they let it happen while they looked the other way. Needless to say hat I wish and hope to be wrong as I abhor any kind of violence.

Citing official government sources, Cecily Routman from the Jewish Pro-Life Foundation has revealed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered Israel’s military to stand down for a full seven hours during the recent Hamas attack – meaning Israel’s government just let the slaughter of its own people happen on purpose to drum up an excuse to go to war against Gaza. Routman would go on in the interview to explain that Rabbi Chananya Weissman, a well-connected religious leader who has the ears of top Israeli officials, “sent out a missive that, indeed, the IDF was given stand down orders – both the army and the air force – seven hours to stand down while those attacks took place.”
“And this allowed the terrorists to come in and begin slaughtering and torturing the citizens,” Routman explains. “Personally, I think that this situation is akin to a family keeping a rabid dog in their home and then blaming the dog when their baby gets bitten.”
Yasser Arafat would have lost a lot of income in the form of foreign aid that was supposed to go to the people had “Palestine” become an independent state. So he died with billions of dollars of stolen money. And later the money went mostly to Hamas to build rockets, and the average “Palestinian” didn’t care or approved of it. They’re so intent on killing Jews that they completely lack the ability to run their own independent state.
I am not buying that.

It’s a religious command to them. The whole world has to become Muslim, eventually. They might tolerate us temporarily, if we submit to their rule, but eventually they must force us to convert, or kill us. Mohammed left them no other options.
That’s what I equate the mooselimbs to: a pack of rabid dogs. You can’t reason with a rabid dog. They have to be exterminated. Hardcore I know, but I believe that’s the way it is.
